- I decided to put together this small rack for my guitar. I wanted a fun small and portable rack to put acoustic instruments threw. Here's what I came up with! Comment with any questions bellow.

Inspiring! I'm on the same journey myself. I'm basing my rig around Instruo Arbhar and Qu-bit Nebulae to create ambient backing soundscapes that I can improvise over.
Thank you! I basically do that with the morphagene and beads. Create a background texture and plays some licks over it
This is cool…definitely on the right track. I come to this as a mostly acoustic fingerstyle player. I tried getting into ambient electric genre but the chaos of the pedals, constantly rerouting, noisy noise floors, stereo/mono incompatibilities just made the whole thing a drag. When I discovered eurorack, I could see the possibilities. So I’m putting together a hybrid DAW/eurorack. My system is similar to yours, but things I’ve added was the Pamela’s midi extension module so I can lock up midi with the Microcosm and TC Elec Triple Flashback. Work great and the syncing is solid. Then I wanted a little more than a stereo out. So I bought a Bored Brain Optx to run 8ch of Adat to my Apollo interface. That too works pretty good. It’s a new addition, and I’ve heard some misc pops, and there might be a small noise floor issue. Haven’t totally evaluated that. Anyway, it’s GREAT to have fellow guitarist exploring this. I think it has a lot of potential. Keep On!
Beautiful stuff man!!
i like the sound you present at approx. minute 12‘. can you remember the signal flow of it?
Good one
Nice! I'm surprised there aren't more videos on Eurorack and guitar, it's the way forward if you ask me, but still seems really niche for some reason. I use software because I can't justify buying rhe real thing, but if I ever went hardware I'd get a similar setup. Maybe an Arbhar for granular and Qubit Databender to FSU. You definitely have the right idea though.
I agree it’s not as practical for guitar players obviously. But in a studio situation if you want unique sounds and effects there is nothing like eurorack. It’s really not a ton more than someone making a pedal board for guitar. Just not practical for live situations.
Dope video. I just picked up a Morphagene today. Hype to scroll around audio
One of my favorites! Endless amounts of exploring.
that track suit is on point!
@@alek6857 lmao thanks dude!
Did the envelope follower play into choosing your line/mic in module? I've been looking at the joranalogue as it is stereo but the befaco instrument interface looks more feature rich.
Yes it did. I didn’t just want a standard input module. This gives me the ability to send out gates and envelopes that are positive or negative. Makes for some cool modulation on mimeophon!
Hey man could you tell me what attenuator and inout modules you have i didnt hear you say what they were. I am trying to build a very similar rack for my electric guitar and fx pedals. Thanks man. Im subscribed now awesome stuff
Thanks I appreciate it! I have the intelijel 1u modules for that. Quadrax and the input, output modules as well. I also use a instrument interface input from befaco for my guitar and mics.
@@Derrick_Evans nice thats exactly what i am going to go for love your setup!
