Also thanks for covering this, I didn't even know the event happened so it was great to see a nice roundup on everything that went down!

4:13 for reference, in the last Na championship Starburst not only won but didn’t drop A SINGLE GAME. Cs winning was def an upset but the 3-0 was something absolutely no one expected
I was there, and I was also screaming the entire time. Don't think the stream picked it up but the energy was absolutely amazing. Funny story: As I was rushing from my hotel to try to get to Nintendo Live early, I was talking about the upcoming tournament with my friend. Someone else in the elevator started talking to us. Turns out, it was Gos from Crush Soda. Little did I know that he would later play like a god on that slosher.
Watching the sets was INKredible!! the meta is more varied than ever and it was super fun to watch, also, watching the crush soda beat starburst was unbelievable, crush soda did an awesome job, even if they lost against jackpot, the fact that they got to actually challenge them is amazing, and the screaming person really added to it.
You're on Clam Crashers?! My team Shipwreck'd played against you guys in a tourney (lsl 32 i think). If i remember correctly y'all gave us a pretty good fight! Small world.
6:15 one more thing is that after winning 3 games in a row, nine (one of the commentators) says that jackpot won (he thought it was game 4). After this Cs started to reverse sweep and everyone thought he had given the commentators curse to jackpot
For anyone who wasn't in the know the championship was using the 4.1.0 update so no new stage/weapon/nerf or buff also they were borrowing the switch so no ability usage

Fr i did not know who was screaming as I was watching the tournament It could be one of the Audience cheering for the team that they are supporting but that’s just my assumption
I have watch the semi and the finals of the splatoon 3 championship tournament and I have witnessed some screaming in the background. I gotta assume it was someone who is a very huge fan of the game since childhood.

Screaming during a tournament is normal but it got so annoying when it was done after every single pick
