  • Richard is a tap dancer and a TH-cam fan of mine who took my Advanced course recently in Sydney.
    He has a very tight big toe. This is part 3 of me trying to loosen it.

    A deep Raynor foot massage, which combines elements of reflexology, deep tissue techniques, and an understanding of the body's interconnected tension bands, offers numerous benefits for both physical and emotional well-being. Here's how this specialized massage can positively impact the feet and, by extension, the entire body:
    Physical Benefits
    Pain Relief: For those suffering from foot pain, plantar fasciitis, heel spurs, or general fatigue, deep Raynor foot massage can provide significant relief. By addressing deep-seated tension and promoting healing, it can alleviate discomfort.
    Improved Circulation: The massage stimulates blood flow in the feet, enhancing circulation. This is particularly beneficial for people with circulatory issues or those who spend long periods standing or walking.
    Enhanced Mobility and Flexibility: By working out knots and tension, the massage can improve the range of motion in the feet and ankles. This is essential for athletes, dancers, or anyone whose activities require flexible and strong feet.
    Stress and Tension Release: The feet can carry a lot of the body's stress. A deep Raynor massage can help release this accumulated tension, leading to overall relaxation and stress reduction.
    Detoxification: Massage encourages lymphatic drainage, which helps in flushing toxins from the body. Given the feet's role in supporting the body's weight and movement, promoting detoxification here can have positive effects on overall health.
    Supports Postural Alignment: Tension in the feet can affect the entire posture of the body. By addressing these tension points, Raynor foot massage can contribute to improved alignment and balance.
    Emotional and Energetic Benefits
    Emotional Release: According to Raynor massage philosophy, physical tension can be intertwined with emotional stress. The feet, containing various reflex points connected to the whole body, can be areas where emotional stress accumulates. Massage here can facilitate emotional release, contributing to emotional balance and well-being.
    Energetic Balance: Raynor massage views the body as a network of energy lines or bands. A foot massage can help unblock these energy pathways, promoting a sense of harmony and vitality.
    Reflexology Aspects
    Holistic Health Support: By stimulating specific reflex points on the feet that correspond to different organs and systems in the body, a deep Raynor foot massage can support holistic health, potentially improving the functioning of various body parts and systems.
    Sleep Improvement: The relaxation induced by foot massage can contribute to better sleep patterns, benefiting those with insomnia or sleep disturbances.
    Headache and Migraine Relief: Reflexology in the foot massage can target points related to the head, offering relief for those suffering from headaches and migraines.
    Considerations for Maximizing Benefits
    Regular Sessions: While a single session can provide relief, regular Raynor foot massages can lead to more sustained benefits, including lasting pain relief and improved foot health.
    Qualified Practitioners: To ensure safety and effectiveness, it's crucial to receive this type of massage from a practitioner trained in Raynor techniques, particularly given the deep and potentially intense nature of the work.
    Personal Feedback: Active communication about pressure preferences and areas of concern can help tailor the massage to individual needs, enhancing its benefits.
    In conclusion, a deep Raynor foot massage addresses not just the symptoms of foot discomfort but also the underlying causes, promoting healing on a physical, emotional, and energetic level. This comprehensive approach can lead to improved foot health, better posture, and a greater sense of overall well-being.

    There’s a part of me that knows I’d be in so much pain having this done , but there’s also a part of me that would love this. I do not understand how people’s reflexes don’t just pull away or kick.

      We Work to the clients levels, some people will pull away with light touch to begin with, but as we work lightly and slowly to progress we can go deeper.

      I wince and cringe just watching but it’s so satisfying to watch. I’m a giant baby when it comes to pain so I’ve struggled with sessions where they didn’t even press anywhere near as hard as this

      @@DivaAllyC has anyone ever worked on your breathing whilst having treatment, have they explained what they're doing? Have they worked with you and your breathe? Or did they just crack on doing their thing.

    How’re your hands holding up? You’ve been in massage for a long time and I know it can be rough for practitioners. Wish you the best, thanks for your content.

      Thanks. They get tight and I have to be careful not to overdo it. I mostly only teach now as I am 53 and I have to pace myself. Its hard work this kind of massage.

    I could imagine you massaging a bunion like that hurt but would feel so good

    • @rrogers2370
      @rrogers2370 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      have you had a massage before? they don't typically feel good lol it's the after effect for the most part. I had my bunion massaged a couple weeks ago for 10 secs. It hurt but it was a..I've been waiting for this sensation forever type of moment.

    • @jayyrsmith2308
      @jayyrsmith2308 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I understand it depends on the foot and not everyone may have different tolerance i Made sombody do it and they focused on the part the was swelling it felt amazing to me and I put ice right on it after.mines only a minor bunion but I figured foot reflexology could make the pain go away because I get a burning sensation from time to time when walking

    • @jayyrsmith2308
      @jayyrsmith2308 ปีที่แล้ว

      All they did was did a few circles on my bunion with their thumb it felt good to even get pressure on it i be scared to touch my toes myself sometimes but I feel like pressure was slowly coming off it after that massage not to say it was the best but still
