It’s a mkVi (6) vs Indy’s mkVii! These were produced for a couple of years before production moved to the mk7. Certainly looks like a genuine original WWII mk6 bag to me (I have several and actually prefer them to the mk7 due to the handy rear pockets) It’s a very nice bag u have there! 👌👌
