I love training algs and doing practice solves with my Gan smart cubes. Honestly, something I suggest for anyone trying to improve their cubing skills. The Gan 12 free play is an amazing cube for more experienced cubers and the iCarry line is great for beginners to intermediate.

I wonder if the new I carry has a better feel. My biggest problem with the original I carry was how uncontrollable it was. Such a locky and uncontrollable cube which made it feel so strange to use to run times when compared to my normal main, which right now is the moyu v9. As crazy as it sounds, I have the gan ui, AKA the Bluetooth based off of the gan 12; long story. It's night and day, using a Bluetooth cube that feels like a real cube versus one that locks up constantly. It would have been nice if they had just taken the 356 maglev and put Bluetooth into it to make the new I carry, but that doesn't look like what they've done unfortunately. Cube station is really good though, I had the moyu smart cubes some years back and it's app really destroyed that cube. Also the fact that after using it for a certain amount of time it stopped syncing the turns.... If I had to make a choice, and I didn't have as much money to throw down, I would definitely get the I carry again.

Hello, I use ortega and average 7.4 seconds, should I get a Gan 251M Pro? Im planning to learn full eg method as I main 2x2 event, please make tutorials on this.
I have a few 2x2s like the QiYi MS, the YJ yupo V2, and the gan 251M pro and I don't think the gan is my favorite. I love gan, definitely my favorite 3x3s but the 2x2 didn't help me as much as I expected. I love the 11 m pro because I feel like it's really fast but also controllable (I get my best times on it) but the 251 seemed more like it's just really fast. I do like it but the other cubes were free with orders and usually only cost about 7 to 8 dollars and I do just as well on them. It's obvious that the 251 is the highest quality but it didn't help me too much. I also use Ortega and I think my best time is a high 5 or a low 6, I honestly don't use 2x2 that often. My philosophy is that if you really want to try it just buy it, whether it helps or not is irrelevant, it's a great cube and it's possible I just didn't get mine set up as well as I could have. You won't regret buying it, it's a nice cube, it just may not help your time.
