So I checked 15:19 both fuses in the trunk they are good , checked for leaks no leaks checked power to pump good 12v. Order pump waiting on it .

Thank you Mr. Robertson for this informative video. On a side note, I’m so OCD with squeaks and rattles on my S550 and all those wrenches you have on the trunk pull out tray would drive me nuts, lol. But in all fairness in case of an emergency out in the middle of no where I would probably be wishing for your setup. 😊

Pneumatic Pump, pronounced "nyoo-mah-tick" without the "P"
Thanks for taking the time and sharing the knowledge, when i run the scanner directed me to the pump the massage states that the switch of the pump is off. I have not taken it apart yet my question is does the pump has a switch? Checked all the fuse their ok. Have not check pump jet. Checked the seat the scanner states zero air presure on the left and right seat.
The pump might not be turning on because it could be defective. I did not remember seeing a switch on the pump

Thanks. Helpful and informative. Question on something you mentioned in the video. I too have a w222 and do not like the runflats. I've already had one cracked rim (which costs $1800 to replace). I'd like to put regular tires on but noone seems to know if it is possible or what size to do. In the video I believe you said you made this conversion. Can you give me some info on that? Did you have to change the rims? What size tires did you put on? Did you have to have the speedometer adjusted? Any issues or concerns with going with non-runflat tires. Thanks in advance.
No need to change the rim. When you convert from runflat to regular tire, just get the same size tires. The front tires size is different from the rear. They call that offset. You can actually drive with run flat and regular tires without a pull in the steering wheel for the front. A rim repair cost me $150.00 for the rim guy to repair the rim. No need to go to the dealership unless you like to spend money. Hopes that answers your question

It should. Put it on a scanner just to make sure.

Why do some models of w222 s550 have the bi turbo v8 badge and others do not
Those decals are placed there at the dealership. Sometimes, they dont even bother with it. I placed my badge manually because it never came with one. Also it is ment for show, so it is not really needed.

hey wayne do you know if these cars need the rear diff oil changed ever? I feel like thats something that gets over looked possibly?
You can change it, if you want to. My personal opinion is, it is not needed but the service manual is king.
