Literally over the years every single person who I've seen who's had two sets of locs one being started with two strand twists and one being started with comb coils in the end they turned out exactly the same so there is really no difference. The only difference is that you have more of a pattern with the two strand twists for longer and The comb coils tend to come out so it's more frustrating to upkeep in the beginning.
182!! Nice & full for sure. ... I have about 150...small locs!! Maybe a few less bc some were combined? My retie was supposed to $135..but she ended up charging me $25 more due to time. I was thinking she's slow?? Lol😅 She so called waived the my first retie by by discounting the consult fee to my 1st appt. But i did ened up paying more bc she estimated less time & it took longer?? Plus i gave her a tip as well.😮 This is my 1st set of locs! My locs are super frizzy currently & budding. My loctician named them as small traditional locs...? And suggested interlocking/ retie one in the same right? I guess once they finally loc...i will decide for my self what to call them? Micro or smaller traditional locs...i do like that they stay neater longer now!😊
Omg! Lol wow maybe she was moving slow!? How long did it take her? 150 is a great set! Do you like the frizz? I love it lol. Also yes interlocking and a retie or retightening are one in the same. But you are free to call them whatever u want, 150 falls right within range! 150 or 182 locs may look like a lot on someones head and may look a lot less on someone else. Just my observation. Good luck to you on your journey, sis! 😊❤️
@mygirlv I think it took her close to 3 hrs?? W/ the wash & all. Didn't put me under the dyer either? Is that common for reties, no dryer?? As long as I was in the chair...it should have been dried. Hopefully, during winter & and cold, I will go under dryer? I know the "frizz" is all a part of the process. It's like shrinking & ravaling as it should in order to loc! It's doing its thing, so I am happy & excited about that part. My hair is fine/ low density & feeling like yarn...?? Here I thought I had 4ccccc & thinking my hair would loc fast...but it's taking its sweet ole' time. Actually, when it rains, I feel like it drops & & falls from the moisture if that makes sense to you? She told me my hair texture was curly kinky...?? I love...it. I did cut back on the water...do you use rose water?? I was used to not wearing a shower cap..but she suggested that I do wear one?? Thank you & much success to u 2! As we support one another on this amazing process! 😁🥰 I love your knowledgeable videos! Keep the great videos coming!
@@janlee3497 yess I had to embrace the frizz! Lol and its funny you say that because I felt like my first set of locs locked pretty fast! This set feels like it’s taking forever and its very interesting considering its 4c hair. Yes the rainfall on locs makes sense. Also one thing I like is that you no longer have to worry about the rain! And no problem love, thank you and much success to you 🤗🙏🏽

@@ExposedRoot Yes, I’ve definitely noticed the difference in pattern. And comb coils are way more frustrating lol.
