When I attended the 2022 Myvi launching, the thing that immediately caught my eye (not in a very good way 🤣) was the red leather seats in the AV variant. It really does look very after market. Something I can get from Ah Seng Accessories shop kinda covers. And then when I moved over to the H variant, indeed the interior looks so much better (and classier). Now I am still debating on what to get. The Myvi H or the Ativa and also what should I do with my 1st gen Myvi 2006 (my 1st baby) 🤣. Keep on doing what you're doing because it is very entertainingly informative. 2 thumbs up.

For about RM4900 more, the active safety features and adaptive cruise control offered by the AV model are worth it. But the red interior in the AV model is just EWWW, they should offer a more modest looking interior and let this red interior be an optional add-on for the lala-kia and the budak baru nak up.

Personally feel that cruise control is useless unless you drive highway everyday XD

Know I know which one is better.
My personal preference will go to get the AV spec because I easily get sleepy during driving. My job is a salesman driving every day and long distance. I may accidently fall asleep many times. I need the safety features and precaution alert to make me awake. It is necessary for me. I am definitely going to plan to have one of the AV spec Myvi.

You are right. I choose H due too many red on PVC seat and of cause budget too. Abit disappointed no reverse camera on H and blind spot monitor. Just for city use, we no need use cruise. So this a reason choosing H...
Ya thats true, no reverse camera is a bit of bummer. But installing outside probably is better, cheaper and better feature and quality compared to Perodua pre-installed 🤫
The Head unit seem like same as AV, You think reverse camera just plug and play or need cut wire risk of void warranty?

Nice review.. Glad i made the right choice choosing H.. Still waiting my car.. Me too personally doesnt really like the red flashy interior.. But yeah..beauty is subjective.. As for me i like more simple design interior colour rather than over fancy coloured interior..
H would also be my choice 😆 If only they have the AV in more subtle colors, maybe can consider.

I would love the Blind Spot Monitor (BSM) and Rear Cross Traffic Alert (RCTA) to be added into the H and I agree I would like my own camera system .
Thank you, thank you thank you👌so true have been driving so long without all these safety features. And so true can get dashcams etc that doesn't build into the loan...but might still buy the AV white so the red is not overbearing and won't end up driving around looking like a raspberry. Since everything is in won't have to do anything.

I knew I made the very right decision choosing the H variant instead. For safety features in H actually is already enough to keep us coordinated and safe. Camera??? I have much better and wide range of options on the market🤣 Been using my myvi H for a month and it exceeds my expectations 🤩🥳

A make sense review and acceptable medium of language. Car makers just playing around with additional features and accesories to justify the higher price. End of the day, depends on budget and mindset. For me, i wont buy with additional accesories which i can get at lower price somewhere out there because, i will pay bank loan with interest for 7 or 9 years for that accecories 😛. Extra 5k for accesories, calculate the interest 3% x 9 years = 1350. End up those accesories cost me RM 6350. At the end, car price always go lower and lower.....

Even though I love the red leather seating in AV, I still find it unreasonable that it’s a default seat colour. Like imagine someone who wants to buy blue AV, but the interior is red 😟😟😟

Yeah the seat color on the AV model is a turn off for me. I wonder if I can change the seat cover to the Perodua's gear up cover? I don't mind adding another 7xx for that. One SA say can and another SA say cannot, I also don't know already. Anyone can confirm?

if you look at official gear up catalogue, the seat cover is not offered for av, what a joke this Perodua has become with silly decisions on the highest spec

I still prefer 1.5X compared to H & AV due to pre installed windows tint not meet my expectation!
In term of tint i agreed but i have to go for H version because of an awkward looks without the spoiler.
I choose H instead of x because of the asa alone
but installing reverse cam in H will void warrentyla boss.. btw the dash cam for rear and front u mention has reverse cam too???
Warranty part i cant comment, but there is nothing to warranty because there is no back camera to begin with. 😂 Unless you remove existing camera, that will void warranty. Reverse camera function is often a plug and play, as long as the rev camera plug matches Myvi H headunit system then is ready to go. 👍
@@im_jrsong its not about the existing camera bos.. i am talking about the electrical system.. if electrical system affected, when SC checks the issue if they find the car has reverse cam attached then they say the issue due to that and cant claim warrenty for other parts.. if we unluckyla..
That will be something H users will need to be careful or check with SC first. Otherwise get the AV 🤣
