There are some bootlegs nowadays that looks almost frighteningly identical as the real one, and because of that it gets harder and harder to find the real one, so some newer collectors might get fooled or they might buy it themselves because of the price. Buying bootlegs might sound nice because of the price but if more people continue supporting these bootleg companies instead of the official ones, it will get harder and harder for the official ones to continue making a nendo or figures of a series because people won’t buy from them anymore. (I’m not hating on anyone that buys bootlegs cause I know how expensive the real ones are, I’m just saying these to warn other people what might happen.)

It's scary to imagine come a day where bootlegs get more popular than the real ones. :(( It's sad to think of the wasted effort and the future ideas that might get cancelled due to low sales. Most bootleg sellers are honest. But some are not as they lay price trap. I call it a trap because the price is higher than bootleg but lower than original. I must say that it is the buyers fault for wanting cheap originals. I mean, real figures get more expensive after a time, NOT cheaper.
I think GSC and other companies ahould revise their price. Why people pick cheaper price? Because figures get more expensive. 10 years ago, real Nendo is only 30usd or so. Now? It's at least 50. Some even go as high as 100usd brand new. The same goes to Saint Cloth Myth (sorry off topic). 15years ago, it was as cheap as 35usd also. Now? It is whooping 250usd-300usd, plus "limited item" tag. How can they expect people to keep buying the originals???? -,-: we r not cash cows.

What baffled me so much from the video was not the extreme similarities and upgrades fake companies have made to recreate fake nendoroids, but the fact that you bought the REAL Zero Two nendoroid for $39!!

Well since I literally cant buy a zero two nendoroid the fake was the option I took. After a bit of screwing on the neck hole of the body with a knife the head now sits perfectly since i widened the hole for the ball joint
I would get confused on what to prioritize. As we know, Miku already releases tons of figures with scales and prize figures alone. There are also monthly Miku nendos. As well as Figmas. I just don't have enough money to spend hahaha! That's why I promised to only focus on static Miku figures. :p once I give in to Miku nendos, I don't think there's any stopping haha
i bought one from a small store that has a website . when purchased one from website could see they still had on eBay THERE response the reason takes three weeks is they order more stock . makes me think they buy copies and sell because it's the joker one it's sold out from most stores .

I bought a miku noodle stopper (sport maid ver to be exact) and I can't tel if it's a bootleg or not so people (or you) if you have this and it's real can I have some info ?
I haven't seen a fake version of that so I can't really confirm if there's a counterfeit out there. But usually fake figures are shiny, smells very plastic~ky and the face looks somehow weird. Say the eyes are either crooked or crossed. Things like that

Not at all. Nendos alone are not for my lazy ass and Nendo dolls have more articulation. That's gonna take more of my time haha! Hellooo! I'm truly sorry for the late response. I was busy healing. X( anyway, I don't share shops for bootleg sellers. It's my way of supporting the official sellers. If it's as low as 27 USD without any issue tho, it's time to get suspicious. Especially since it's from Amazon. :( Fakes usually have the same characteristics so when your item arrives, check the Goodsmile company logo on the box, check the base if it's matte and kinda cloudy. Fakes will always have clear and scratchy bases. And check the ball joints if it has the good smile company logo

However, if you really wanna buy from that site, you only have limited choices: >you directly ask the seller if they're selling bootleg or not >check and read the description of the figure. Most fakes also have chinese brands as manufacturers instead of GoodSmile Company >check the reviews especially ones with posted photos. They will help you a lot in deciding the legitimacy. best of luck if until now you're still looking for you Zerotwo 🤞🏻

Hi, one question hope you see this. I was planning to order one from Amazon that costs 109$ I can't seem to find her for less maybe I just don't know where to look. On some of the reviews the base has printed made in china not on top of it but on one of the sides and some reviews don't show that on the base. My question is it normal? Also nice vid
She's expensive already? I did not think she would bump the price again given she just had a re release 👁️👄👁️ but yeah your question is normal. My only advice is to ask the seller more photos if you think the ones provided are not enough for you to judge the authenticity. Are there no other photos? I mean not only the base? How about the box. The box alone could give away if it's fake or real. Inside and outside the box are different. If the seller is selling it without a box, $109 is absolutely expensive. Don't buy it. Just be patient and look for another one.

I looked it up and it's an old nendoroid model. I'm sorry I can't really help at this point since I only started collecting nendos last year and so far, the Nendoroid comparisons I did were all past nendo.number 300. All new boxes and faceplates. If it looks all the same as the authentic ones you have seen and the only thing that differs is the sheen, may I ask if you've kept it all this time inside the box or was it pre owned? Old models tend to melt because of the chemicals that were used before as one of the ingredients/materials. Maybe that's why it gives off an odd shine. Ofcourse. That's just my thoughts. I'm not sure of it and I can't testify as well since I don't have a dead master nendo.and it's definitely hard to get now given its an old issue without a recent rerun.

my gauge for real vs fake nendoroids is their faces (mainly when they're in a box). Eyes too high up/ too close together that it's veering on legitimately ugly territory? Very obviously fake. Some bootlegs i must say are not too shabby in the facial proportion department but this fake Zero Two ain't one of 'em. Of course this assessment is due to the fact that I draw (went to Animation schools and what not) and am a creature of aesthetics so facial proportions even in a chibi is VERY important for me.

I'm not really sure but I'm pretty sure she can cost from $30-$60 depending where you live. I think it's cheaper in Japan. Also I don't really know but, I'm pretty sure nendroids don't cost that much unless they are very rare? Like if it's a bigger nendroid, bigger than a normal sized nendroid? I don't know if shes rare or not but maybe she is.. I only know a little about nendroids lol. I mean if she bought the official 02 for $39 then I think she would probably not be $500 lol.

Fake has much duller smile, so not worth it. Fakes don't pay royalties to the original designer or the franchise series the character is from.... but I feel some sympathy for their desire to create toys for kids who can't afford the expensive originals. And for themselves for that matter.

Wow! this is the first real vs fake video of yours I've seen, where the real and the fake are almost identical!
The only obvious difference to me, is the box. Other than that, I would probably struggle to identify the real one.
TRUE. specially for newbies, or just people giving this fake as gifts, they won't probably notice or might shrugs some details because this was made close to the original. by far one of the closest fake nendo i've seen

Not at all. Nendos alone are not for my lazy ass and Nendo dolls have more articulation. That's gonna take more of my time haha! Hellooo! I'm truly sorry for the late response. I was busy healing. X( anyway, I don't share shops for bootleg sellers. It's my way of supporting the official sellers. If it's as low as 27 USD without any issue tho, it's time to get suspicious. Especially since it's from Amazon. :( Fakes usually have the same characteristics so when your item arrives, check the Goodsmile company logo on the box, check the base if it's matte and kinda cloudy. Fakes will always have clear and scratchy bases. And check the ball joints if it has the good smile company logo

Hello Miu! I'm extremely sorry for the late response! If you have a choice, I don;t recommend buying from AMAZON. There are a lot of bootleg sellers there. However, if you really wanna buy from that site, you only have limited choices:
>you directly ask the seller if they're selling bootleg or not
>check and read the description of the figure. Most fakes also have chinese brands as manufacturers instead of GoodSmile Company
>check the reviews especially ones with posted photos. They will help you a lot in deciding the legitimacy.

By placing a pre order. It's the pre order price. When nendoroids get released, the price shoots up that's why I got it very cheap in comparison to how much it's worth now :))

Hi, one question hope you see this. I was planning to order one from Amazon that costs 109$ I can't seem to find her for less maybe I just don't know where to look. On some of the reviews the base has printed made in china not on top of it but on one of the sides and some reviews don't show that on the base. My question is it normal? Also nice vid
She's expensive already? I did not think she would bump the price again given she just had a re release 👁️👄👁️ but yeah your question is normal. My only advice is to ask the seller more photos if you think the ones provided are not enough for you to judge the authenticity. Are there no other photos? I mean not only the base? How about the box. The box alone could give away if it's fake or real. Inside and outside the box are different. If the seller is selling it without a box, $109 is absolutely expensive. Don't buy it. Just be patient and look for another one.

If it's the same box as the authentic and it has the goodsmiled trademarks, how come you're not sure if it's real? Does the face look wonky?
@@JennySupremo a bit. There is a shine to the face that my others do not have. Also the gradding on her hair piece is not there. I have Red gold saw and Black rock, both look much better. Its a bit odd really.
I looked it up and it's an old nendoroid model. I'm sorry I can't really help at this point since I only started collecting nendos last year and so far, the Nendoroid comparisons I did were all past nendo.number 300. All new boxes and faceplates. If it looks all the same as the authentic ones you have seen and the only thing that differs is the sheen, may I ask if you've kept it all this time inside the box or was it pre owned? Old models tend to melt because of the chemicals that were used before as one of the ingredients/materials. Maybe that's why it gives off an odd shine. Ofcourse. That's just my thoughts. I'm not sure of it and I can't testify as well since I don't have a dead master nendo.and it's definitely hard to get now given its an old issue without a recent rerun.

my gauge for real vs fake nendoroids is their faces (mainly when they're in a box). Eyes too high up/ too close together that it's veering on legitimately ugly territory? Very obviously fake. Some bootlegs i must say are not too shabby in the facial proportion department but this fake Zero Two ain't one of 'em. Of course this assessment is due to the fact that I draw (went to Animation schools and what not) and am a creature of aesthetics so facial proportions even in a chibi is VERY important for me.

I don't know if shes rare or not but maybe she is.. I only know a little about nendroids lol. I mean if she bought the official 02 for $39 then I think she would probably not be $500 lol.

Fake has much duller smile, so not worth it. Fakes don't pay royalties to the original designer or the franchise series the character is from.... but I feel some sympathy for their desire to create toys for kids who can't afford the expensive originals. And for themselves for that matter.
