its all about the bass, with the old speakers you barely have any bass, but with these speakers you have enough bass to shake everything around you if you set it high

I have these already for my computer but think I may pick another set up and add a Bluetooth receiver to it for my phone. They sound the best for the money and look really nice without taking up to much room. These wireless Bluetooth speakers like the jambox and the beats crap cant compare in anyway.
You had the companion 2 speakers on the wrong side. Te speaker with the volume control is the right speaker, you put it on the left. When watching movies or gaming, the sound will come from the same place as on the movie or game.

put that sub in the corner on the floor it will improve the bass alot
have you tried to connect headphones in that puck? I'm trying to connect mine and I can hear sound but my mic doesn't work
There is no input for the microphone on the puck.
subwoofer should be below waist height so the LFE can spread across the floor and not become overpowering.

yess it makes difference, on a carpet it sounds less boomy and less resonating.
