Hello MichielPC, and thank you for that wonderful comment and support! I will do my best in the next video to give more good advice and tips! If you have any part of the gameplay you would like to see covered in more detail, please let me know. Layouts are in my plan already!
Harbor master offices, should be planned near the coastline if you have the Seat of Power expansion, since palace bonuses only can apply if they are connected by road.
Pera. If I am making a city and keeping diff residents separate. Should I bother using a town hall for Farmers? Or is it not worth it and just use town hall for workers and above. This is assuming I have many decent items already.
Hello Angus M! It's a good question. I haven't played in a while so my info might be outdated, but this depends on your setup. If your have a mass of farmers on additional islands you don't plan to upgrade than sure, use items+town hall. If this is your main island, and you will be leveling everyone up, than use items specific to those folks once you level them up.
I hope you enjoyed this gameplay of Anno 1800 and the tips I posed about. What other subjects and gameplay mechanics give you trouble in Anno 1800 and which would you like me to cover in my next videos?
Hello Samuel, and welcome to my channel. As far as I could discover it's possible to earn it as a reward for the World's Fair, Science and Inovation section.
I can't cofirm that you can buy them, but there are several specialists which do increase ship attack range. Admiral Haynes, Beholder of Far Horizons, Wild Anarchist Sacchetti, Vice-Admiral Romanov, Vice-Almirante Gonçalves. Almost all of them require the The Anarchist DLC.
Hi Jan, you place them in the corresponding buildings which have slots for them. Trade union, Harbourmaster’s office and Town Hall buildings. They are first placed in warehouse when you collect them.
Yes, this video is good; but, as for buildings themselves: meh... My region is already expensive enough to operate as it is, even without trade unions, town halls or harbor masters.
Awesome detailed videos man! Looking forward to the next ones!

I was hoping to get answers as to how to add items in the first place, it wasn't there. What items? Where do you get them?
You get them by buying them from NPC bases or as loot after destroying ships. Also some missions give them as rewards.

I know it is very hard to find more room for such buildings but you have to learn to plan ahead for them.
