LOL @ the county trying to reel it in. Other than the four story limit (and kudos for that), it seems as though they've done nothing else to reel things in. ...sadly. They continue to permit construction without concern for parking, so cars line the sides of 30A in too many places now. Locals know to go super slow in these areas during the tourist season because children and animals tend to dart out from between the excess parked vehicles. Tourists, however, don't realize this.
...and now we've got stoplights going up all along 30A for situations that only happen three months out of the year. Will they be smart lights? Nope. Will they flash red during the off season? Nope.
They've paved paradise but it's still a lot nicer than most places. ...for now.

30A is not a sad place, quite the opposite. Beaches are busy in the summer. Isolated coastal beaches are still available relatively close by. The Forgotten Coast is still available for the more reclusive….
I say there's way too many houses on 30A enough is enough to building needs to stop now
