Vaea Street Walkthrough - Samoa 2021

Walking from the Southern end of Vaea Street (H.J Keil) to the Apia Clock Tower. Road was recently widenend, resurfaced and now has footpaths on both sides. Road markings not yet completed.

The whole of this area and right through to the main Clock tower was all covered by water waist deep during the recent flooding caused by heavy rain. It's now a common occurrence during heavy rains in Apia. Very sad due to poor planning and poor drainage systems in place. No good!

LTA needs to finish the road markings and mark out carparks along the street so cars stop parking on the footpath where pedestrians are supposed to walk.
