    Dear Jennifer, if no one has told you lately--the crafting world appreciates you so much! Thanks for all the great ideas and inspiration that you manage to put out every week--not sure how you do that! So incredible. Btw, my friend decided to give me all of these old mags that she had from many years ago re scrap booking. Low and behold, there you are! I swear you don't look a minute older than you did 20 years ago! wow :D just a bit of trivia there for ya. ha ha Have a great day.

    Hi Jennifer! As always, your cards are stunning, and I'm excited to try this technique. I appreciate the way you show us how to achieve the same great result while using things we have in our stash. Not only is this more economical, it is great for those of us who have limited craftroom/storage space. I appreciate that. Thank you for the way you teach in a way that benefits all of us no matter what our financial situation or craft space storage may be. Love you Jennifer! Have a blessed day.

    I realized I forgot to mention how I was gluing the layers together on the green border card! I put a bit of Gina K adhesive on scrap paper and then picked it up with a cheap-makeup-triangle-foam-thing. lol. I then dabbed it on to my die cut. This is a fast way to apply glue but I find it a bit wasteful.

    • @Crazy4Crafting50
      @Crazy4Crafting50 5 ปีที่แล้ว

      I just dab with my fingers, lol! But I realize some people dont like touching sticky glue with their hands. Haha! But you dont waste nearly as much that way

    Wow, I’m a pure sucker for Art Deco, and this month’s kit is knockin’ it outta the park! But what really sealed the deal for me is this amazing faux layering die technique. Jennifer THANK YOU SO MUCH for showing us how to get this amazing look for far less than the $70 price point of some layering dies on the market. I can’t afford $70 for a single die set, but this is doable. I have a wedding card to make for a March nuptials, and am so excited to use this kit to make it.

    Hello Jennifer! What a beautiful die for a beautiful lady, only you could have done this ...I am only 8 minutes into your video and I had to make a comment..I bought a layering die, I could buy the other one as I have only started shopping online from November, but I would layered word dies which I bought one year before I shopped online....who see or got those would always praise the beauty of those cards...but only 3 days ago I was trying to eyeball a three layering card which would look Beautiful... But saw it would be off with with the at the ends...but thought of trimming the end whether top/bottom, but did not think of the middle..you are truly a genius and I do love you... You have save many crafter's a bundle of pennies... I will continue to watch the rest of video... Blessings my craft sister..

    Hi Jen, I have a suggestion I use for layering some words that I use a lot....like "hello" and "thanks".... Before cutting the words in my Big Shot, I glue a couple pieces of white scrap paper together, then cut the word. That way I have some extra layers to use to make the words stand out. I love your videos! Please keep them coming, even if you go back and use some of the older techniques. We always learn something new.

    This is a very clever idea. I like the look of layered die cuts, but I balked at the prices. There are a couple of other alternatives too. I was delighted to discover that all of the stores that sell cutting files have layered die cut files available for very reasonable prices. Even if you don’t have one of the electronic cutting machines, you can buy layered die cuts on Etsy and EBay. As a bonus, files and die cuts take up less room and are therefore much easier to store.

    I need to create a binder, with all the different techniques you’ve shown us, and label it, “Jennifer McGuire.” Then when I want to try something new (like this technique), I can go to my binder. Thank you for all the hard work you continually put into our creative world.
