I've used ovulation strips before because I'm a nerd and wanted to see how accurate my period app was and also thought if I recorded the tests it would get better. I love your page where you have all your tests I would be sitting there trying to remember how dark yesterday's line was.

Just so anyone watching knows you can in fact stop taking the oral contraceptive pill at any time, you do not need to finish your pack as your body is in a state of chemical menopause whilst on the pill and you do not have any kind of cycle so there is no difference between stopping mid-pack or once you've completed your pack.

@@LindseyBrookeMitchell Absolutely, unfortunately women are not taught about their cycles and the pill and are lead to believe that you have a period/cycle whilst on the pill when your "period" is actually a withdrawal bleeding. Love watching your content, congrats on your pregnancy x
This! I did a ton of research in it when my husband and I started talking about trying. I ended up getting of mine mid pack due to migraines as well but I haven’t had issues, there’s not actually a problem with it

Did you track again the second month that you actually tried or did you just count the days from your next period?
I tracked the whole month we tried - starting as soon as my normal cycle came back and then took a pregnancy test 10 dpo!
Would you be able to say how you used the pre seed did you insert inside with the little gadgets it comes with or did you just use as a normal lube? As in you didn’t insert it inside you just put it on him? Thank you

Feeling so sad. I’m in my early 30s and we’ve been trying for almost a year, although only about 4 months into OPKs. I’ve been taking prenatals for almost 2 years now, we use OPKs, Preseed. I’ve also tried temping this cycle. Just my luck, this cycle my body mysteriously did not ovulate - and my partner and I are both healthy, and I always have regular cycles. It’s just hard when you’re literally doing everything and yet it doesn’t work out month after month. I’m so envious of people who conceive so quickly.

I tried more than 2 years I am 36 years old done ivf had multiple miscarriages and when we were happy had still birth at 18 weeks pregnant it's so hard and true what you said and people who doesn't want to get pregnant and do
Most people I know don't fall pregnant 1st try especially if 30+ so don't be too hard on yourself. Wishing you all the very best.

One thing is that you can have an over 50% chance per cycle in your teens to early 20s. This drops to 15% by your early 30s… nothing can beat the wall.

@@maryannemukkattu6041 yes and what does that equal PER CYCLE? 80 divide by 6 = roughly what I said in my original comment.
Fertility decline by 30 is really exaggerated, it only really starts making a noticeable decline after 35. Also, anecdotal, but I've read hundreds of accounts online and about 40% conceive on the first try, across a vast age range. At 35, it drops, and after 40, chances per cycle are very slim.
It’s devastating that the societal trend is to wait to have kids now. WHYYYY?! Had a I realized these stats I would have been trying years ago 😢 now I’m almost in my mid 30s and I’m terrified I’ve ruined my chances at biological motherhood.
I have a retroverted uterus, I know when I ovulate because I get ovulation pain and still not pregnant. Don’t know what is happening. ☹️
The video is helpful but I think the title can be a bit less click bait like. It could be "What worked for us to get pregnant" but no need to pout FIRST month of trying, because then a lot of women will come to watch it thinking this video will help them to get pregnant right away but it is not the same for them and then they will be down it did not happen like that for them. You were lucky to get pregnant first try but there will be a lot of women doing the exact same thig you did and still take months or even years to get that baby.

My fiancé is 33 and I will be 29 in October. We have been engaged for 4 years this November. We have been together for 9 years and we have known each other for 10 years. We met in college I was 18 about to turn 19 in two months and he was 22. We postponed our wedding twice. But my fiancé wants us to have a baby first before we get married. We talked about possibly getting married next year in the summer. I have very bad irregular periods. I did go to doctor for it. The said I do not have PCOS. But they told me if I want to become pregnant I might need medication to help me with trying to convince. But never gave me a direct answer if I can actually have children or not on my own. My fiancé told me that he told his friend we plan to try for a kid sometime this year. I hope we can convince as quickly as you did and not have wait many months for it happen.
