  • Prince Andrew has been striped of his military and royal patronages by the Queen, Prince Charles and Prince William, as he prepares to fight his civil case against Virginia Giuffre. But there is a clue as to what the disgraced Duke will do next, and it does not look good for the Queen's favourite son.

As far as I know, no settlement talks have even begun. Having said that, I think the smart money would be to settle. If she takes this to trial and loses, she could be on the hook for all his legal bills, which you have to know will be substantial. On the other hand, a settlement with an NDA and no admission to guilt or culpability makes her a very rich lady and this whole thing goes away. Or at least it disappears from the headlines. I think he’s already been tried and convicted in the court of public opinion, so his reputation is in the trash but at least it will take the heat off the rest of the royal family.

Relly? Andrew was only copying,in his own way, his brother |Charles , who had a mistress for decades, a Mrs CPB. This relationship continued all through his marriage and eventual divorce of Lady Diana Spencer, after whose death he has worked to rehabilitate CPB , and himself, in the minds of the public and he has now married her. Spencer was used merely to provide an heir to continue the Windsor dynasty. They may think they have put it all to rest by marrying but Edward VIII was forced out for doing much the same thing pre-WWII.Social & moral attitudes change over time but I don't think there will be a smooth and happy transition after Queen Elizabeth .

The only people who are untouchable are the criminals who commit horrid crimes. They only have to confess their crimes, for which they not even have a shred of remorse to escape Death penalty, and get some years in prison. I do not think that his accuser is a brave person. In suing, she is very much showing her hate towards an entire family who have nothing to do with Andrew. The accuser is a money sucker, no doubt about. When money is the prey, then, it is easy for that person to attack the royal family. If that accuser says that her family comes first, why does she hurt an entire English family.
If Andrew mixed with the wrong crowd, he is surely paying a high price, as all the choices we make in life have their consequences.
      King James Bible
There hath no temptation taken you but such as is common to man: but God is faithful, who will not suffer you to be tempted above that ye are able; but will with the temptation also make a way to escape, that ye may be able to bear it.

Let me tell you what will happen, Virginia will take a multi-mllion pound settlemement from Andrew, her previous settlement ( from Epstein) is running out and her bank account needs a top-up. Whatever happened in the sex case she was 17, not a child. In many countries(including here in the UK, Andrew's country) you can marry and have children at that age, so she chose to associate with a load of rich guys and do whatever she did. Why didn't she just get in her car and drive home? She loved the rich life and she made her choice, it was a good choice too because it will earn her plenty more millions on top of the fortune she's already made. @@Hopefully.2024 in a civil case it is not about guilty or not guilty. It is about the balance of probability that the allegation that he had sex with an underaged trafficked teenager is true and if it is paying damages. That he tried to dismiss the case on the basis he was covered by Epstein’s deal including him as a potential defendant is tantamount to an admission of the allegation. If he were innocent he would face his accuser in court and win the case with her bankrupted by paying his damages. He will try to settle because he would be a lousy witness. Recalling the pathetic performance in his BBC interview his lawyers will do everything to settle the case. Personally I am not convinced he will lose. There will need to be evidence that the sexual encounters took place. How will this be witnessed? If it happened, was it taped by Epstein and if so who has copies of the tape? It is conceivable that something happened and it was taped and that the purpose of the meeting with Epstein after his conviction was to get the tapes. But that would be conjecture.

I don't believe he assaulted her in anyway and her calling her friends to brag isn't helpful for her. She has to provide the evidence which shows she was raped. I agree a tape would have been ideal but if such a thing existed we wouldn't be here would we. It will be interesting nonetheless.

Next could be his Dukedom and other tiles if he disrespect his family. especially in his memoir. Her Majesty the Queen has always put her duty to the country first before her family.

Andrew is an officer in her majesty’s army who unlike Epstine or Trump has seen active duty . He is the son of her majesty and has known great privilege but with that comes a price . He needs to show great strength of character and courage. It is easy to be a tearoom critic but in his place I would offer Guiffe and her lawyers a settlement to save further embarrassment to his family and the queen . Give her 24 hrs to accept it then “publish and be dammed”
She has already had her pound of flesh if she has an appetite for more then so be it. Leave his fate in the hands of his lord and be prepared to take his punishment. Ask for the courage and strength to take it.
