This may have been the very worst driver on iRacing I've ever seen, and I'm not exaggerating, I've seen dive bombs, nukes, yeets, but never straight up manipulating a race to destroy someones race, and other people, so I guess this is a perfect guide/tutorial on how to get banned in iRacing, for those who are so inclined lol

Every time I report someone like this, iRacing says they have done something about it but I watch the person continue racing daily with seemingly no ban or safety rating penalty whatsoever.

Exactly!!! I don’t even think they check all the reports, they probably select some and look at it, I’ve reported people like that and I saw them racing the day next after I got that stupid message from Iracing.

No, you can even report people with footage from e.g. Twitch streams. As long as you provide evidence it'll be fine.

I think a successful protest for intentional wrecking should not only be a suspension, but also an automatic demotion to rookie class. Take those tantrums to Mazda Cup
Rookies is chaos enough from drivers natually losing control without adding people like this to it! But yeah, a drop in license class for a month or two might give them something to think about.
@DeanoRav that's a good point. Either that or make it harder to earn SR, like award SR at half the normal rate for a period of time
Bans / Penalties should be public, maybe even a notation on the SR or a Penalty Rating, maybe a ban should have some impact, not just a week off... If anybody actually gets banned anyway, reports seem to just generate emails, saying don't do that again... (I have received more than one, at least one or two are justified, I am not proud of that..., most are just simply mistakes). Many people see iRacing (and all the other Sims) as games (which they are) and don't actually take racing seriously, just look at online Forza or GT7...

@@Eric-ku6cyThis is what I've been thinking. I get that they don't want to ban people from racing, but take away that SR. Only thing is it might negatively affect people in rookies if you are forcing all the bad drivers to race there while they build the SR back up.

I have 3 replays from a F4 race where the guy went rampage on everyone, the protest ticked was resolved in less than an hour I guess the guy was mass reported, I mean he used the incident cd very well cause he was able to cause multiple big ones before being DQ

at least in GT7 the time penalties would put the driver far behind the way that prat drove

I had to report a guy for this exact thing except the guy completely took me out when I went to pass him after he came out of the pits. Idk what iRacing did but they told me action was taken against the person.
Oh this guy was so mad that in the very next races practice season he stopped at the final corner and waited for me to take me out in practice. I clipped everything even the incident he felt I caused which was him locking up behind me and crashing.
Report them every time, any session. Practice isn't a free for all. They want a free for all they can pay to host a session.
@@JonRacesCars Oh yeah I clipped the practice session incident and used that with the footage. I even thanked the guy for giving me more evidence.
They sent them an email saying basically "pretty please don't it again but just make sure to keep buying content."
@@regibson23 maybe, I got reported for calling someone a F-tard and they gave me a warning. I did like that they acknowledged the driver I called a F-tard committed a F-tardable offense though, but that I still needed to refrain from insults of that nature.
As a Brazilian, I feel ashamed of him, who is also Brazilian. Childish attitude. He should be banned.

One of the biggest culprits of this is iracing itself. Attitudes like this have been happening since the beginning and they have always dealt with punishments such as a ban for 3 days, 1 week, or a maximum of 1 month. So things like this continue to happen. Until they ban the account forever, this will be eternal.
We should normalize spreading this kind of peoples name's. Not only in sim racing, but in any game. Honestly, you could share the .rpy file and have everyone report him to get him a long ass ban. Only way this fragile ego losers will learn

We were always angry at someone who crashed into us in the race, but people like this guy in the video are crazy and deserve to be banned.

I literally JUST went through this same exact thing at the same time you did, except in GT3 at Road Atlanta. I accidentally bumped him on lap 6. I think he got a bullshit meatball. Im apologizing on the radio over and over. Thought it was over with. Fast forward, im in P2, and hes trundling around the track trying to wreck me 3 times!!! I saw him coming twice. But on the third time, P3 was really on me. I was watching my mirrors, super concentrated, didnt see him on the relative, and he got me good. Sent my protest in. Posted it on reddit as well. And shocker, he was from Spain.
i raced many races on iracing and i have NEVER seen someone like this. its insane those guys are not made for racing. jackzers was this a fixed race?
He kept crying about you destroying his race while destroying other peoples races and getting himself a time out from iRacing. Nim will review and give him a suspension.

We were just polar opposites, he wanted to play in the sand, and my car was on rails. Put em together you get a nasty racing incident.

He's not getting banned. This is the current state of iracing "stewards" they do absolutley nothing. It's worse to say something through the chat bc these incidents are overlooked since iracing just want more and more people paying the monthly content and stuff

We, brazilians that don't act like a dumbasses, have been trying so hard to build a good community on iracing, to end up with a video like this.
Hope you get your SR back soon, and so sorry for that behavior. Unfortunatelly, this is REALLY common on online games here. The brazilian community is trying to deal with it and make it better, but it is really hard.
Irmão, eu sou o cara do vídeo, é muito fácil vc vir aqui babar as bolas do gringo, sempre joguei safe, sempre tenho cuidado na T1, evito isso que ele fez na primeira volta, a corrida tem 45 min, mas não ele quer ganhar na primeira volta, nem em liga eu tomo ponto de punição de andar tão safe, agora o que mais tem em rankeada é cara que dá esse "toquinho" e finge que foi sem querer, olha e telemetria dele, o cara breca quando já está colidindo comigo... minha corrida foi pro saco, ele foi pra 4º. O iracing não faz nada com esses caras, uma hora cansa...

Eu o conheço, ele está um pouco estressado assim, algo parecido aconteceu entre ele e eu, e ele desistiu da corrida para quebrar nossos carros, nem ele nem eu terminamos a corrida, ele disse que nos campeonatos ele dirige suavemente, sem incidentes, acho que ele corre assim nos campeonatos porque lá eles podem tirá-lo do campeonato, então ele não pode mais correr, mas em Iracing é uma terra sem lei, então ele tem uma festa
That unfortunate is the sad part of sim racing and it’s even worse on gt7. I know gt7 isn’t a real sim but sometimes in a good lobby it’s fun. But what can you do. Report them and move on.

The way iracing stewards rarely ban anyone I'm not so sure that intentional wrecking is actually against the rules anymore.
man that guy is just so stupid. i mean if your race was ruined then check the replays and protest if you have to. not do this kinda stuff where it just ruins it for everybody. i’d protest his behavior. he really needs to be banned
iRacing stewards need to ask themselves when they get this kind of protest, what would happen to this person if they did this in real life? It is a "sim" after all. The answer is the person would be banned essentially from all motorsports globally. This kind of behavior shows they can't be trusted behind the wheel of a race car, word would spread fast and the persons name would be completely blacklisted from motorsports outside rural go kart tracks and autocross. And that is how iRacing needs to handle it.

Nah...had something like this happen to me i dumped him. ALL over me bumping him at the checkup in turn 1. No one spun, wrecked, or anything, but he proceeded to pull almost the same thing. kept slowing up letting 1-3rd place get out away from the pack. I even apologized. He kept doing it called me something i wont repeat half a lap later he got dumped. If your going to complain about an accident and try to ruin it for others get off the track.
This is all too common on iRacing. They are almost always low irating also. But you said it perfectly "sometimes in the field you step in dog crap".
The way you were full throttle using all the road without any awareness of him running wide ahead is what got him super agro. Yeah he’s a jerk and deserves a ban 100%! But hey let’s not get carried away with zooming in, all focus on the brake pedal, and the last milliseconds in application when you’re about to ass pack him lmfao! No idea how you weren’t modulating the throttle way earlier tbh. 🤪

I know very well how to take a guy out with little back bump, eliminate 1 car and keep racing, at end an incident is an incident.... iracing does not make difference if was crash or not
In one endurance race I saw a car doing same thing to me and another 2 cars, bump crash taking out cars.... iracing called it "racing incident"
He was not right on the revange and I am sure he knows it, but please do not call yourself Virgin Mary as you did not brake enough and took the chance ending in bump crash him !

I'm the commented pilot! every time it's the same story, always on the first lap, no one is careful, we have cold penus, but no! everyone wants to win in the first round, we are fed up, I don't know you, I'm not going to judge you. I'm not going to say you're right or wrong, but today I'm literally tired! You braked when you were already destroying my race, many drivers use this "unintentional light touch" to win the race. In fact, my attitude afterward is not acceptable, I'm just fed up with following the rules, with being nice. Good luck next time.

You went off track in lesmo 2 (and lesmo 1), which created the potential for an incident. Were you potentially trying to win on the first lap? With cold tyres? Could you have maybe driven within the limit of the car, and taken the first lap slightly more carefully so you could hold a predictable and consistent pace through the corners so it's easier for cars behind you to follow without contact?
You're driving in a low irating split. People will be shit (no offense intended Jackzer). People aren't intentionally ruining your race, racing is just difficult. Racing is even more difficult if the guy in front of you continually goes off into the gravel and rejoins 30kph below the normal racing speed. Predictable, consistent opponents are very easy to not crash into. You had an incident on lap 1 because - from the perspective of other drivers - you were not a predictable, consistent opponent.
If you continually get into incidents, you're the catalyst for said incidents. Other people may hit you, but that doesn't mean you didn't create the situation in the first place.
And just to make it clear - I am not blaming you. Overpushing on the first lap and going wide is completely normal. However, blaming the incident on the guy immediately behind you, as if he's supposed to mindread your mistakes ahead of time, is ridiculous. Reaction times are not instant. Deceleration takes time.
The proper response to this incident, from your side, is "Ah shit, I messed up the lesmos and made it unpredictable for the guy behind. That caused a racing incident."
It's a racing incident, because racing is difficult. Your response to the incident in the rest of the race is atrocious.

@ I have a button on my steering wheel to say sorry. I press it whenever I’m involved in an incident. I’ve never faced revenge, so it’s a way to protect myself rather than a genuine apology.
