Thanks for your uploads with tips and experiences. I have the same bike, bought it last autumn. This video made me think, it was along time ago I practiced these things. Need to do it again. I also hit the sub button. Cheers! 🇸🇪🇬🇧👍🏻
Hi Jon- I love going out and practicing the simple stuff and can really feel the difference after doing it. Thanks for subscribing, ride safe and have fun.
Hi and thanks for watching- I actually kept it in first gear- I drop the side stand and that stops the engine plus stops any room away when I let the clutch back out with the engine off.
Thanks for what you do, sharing your own learning experience with others. I plan to buy a KTM 890 Adventure R, unfortunately there are non available at the moment, July before dealers have more in. This is a new style of riding for me as both my bikes are rather sporty, the Yamaha FZ1-S Custom and the Kawasaki ZZR 1400. I've taken to exploring Scotland's roads less travelled and as a result realised how much more useful a dual purpose bike would be, taking me places mine can't at the moment. I've subbed so I can keep up with your videos and learn myself what you've had to learn. Coincidentally that takes us both to 66 subs 👍😀
It's going over to the dark side and there has been no looking back for me- one of the most enjoyable things I've ever learned. It also changes our road riding in a really positive way. I'd never ridden any bike off road before last September and it's been the best challenge ever.I heard there has been high demand- hope you get one soon- worth it!

When doing the dismount, did you put the bike in neutral, coast a bit, clutch lever released/let out, then dismount?

If you ride solo, take a ratchet strap jack! Bike is too heavy for me to stand up by myself- especially with loaded paniers.!!
Hi Bill and thanks for watching- that's a great idea.
