Alhamdulillah for Islam. No confusion, no twisting of the mind, no mental, logical and emotional gymnastics. It's like Christianity is different according to every single one of them. It reminds me a story, I asked one "practicing" Christian what it means to follow Christianity, is it a book, are you following Jesus, are you following scholars, what is it? He said, it's whatever makes you feel good, according to you. That's when I said, well, it's definitely a man-made religion then.

Jesus clearly said that He is God in Revelation 1:8 in the Bible says, "I am the Alpha and the Omega," says the Lord God, "who is, and who was, and who is to come, the Almighty"

The good deeds are useless if they are done without believing in crucified Jesus and his teachings . Then it's like an ungodly person trying to be be good on their own. So believe in Jesus , his crucifixion and his teachings and then do the good works he spoke about in the gospels.

The Jews were also expecting a prophet in the Arabian deserts as it was mentioned in the their Scriptures but they weren't expecting him to be from the Ishmaelite although it was clearly mentioned that God will glorify the Ishmaelites in the future. But still they rejected and opposed the Prophet (PBUH) because he wasn't a Jew from among themselves.
