I passed Dp-203 today and saw the open book option.. here are some tips:
    1. Mark the questions where you are not confident as 'Review' and cross check later using open book option.
    2. The clock will not stop when MS learn is open so use this option wisely during review before ending the test.
    3. There is no search on page but initial search is available to go to a particular topic. Scroll to the particular topic which might provide the closest info related to your question.
    4. Complete the 'mark for review' questions before moving to case study question as there is no going back to all questions once case study section is opened.
Hope this helps and best of luck.
PS: tech blackboard questions proved helpful in my preparation. So keep watching and sharing..😊

Wow, this is a game changer. I was very frustrated studying for DP-23, scoring 4 practice exams in the 60% to 80% range. This would give me confidence to just take the test. I bet MS wants more people to take the test, so they can have more professionals, so they can make more money.

Can you search the exams on there. Meaning just going to MS102 for example and search the self paced learning path?

Please please DO NOT USE the open book feature.
    1. It is wasting your time, instead study more as if the exam not open book.
    2. It is distraction, thinking you can open book doesn't mean you can find the info there.
    3. It is buggy, closing the tab might cause white screen of death. You may need to call proctor and he or she doesn't monitor you always and wasted exam time just for them to get back to you and restart the session.

@@TheTechBlackBoard that's great. to be honest, I failed an exam thinking i can use this open book feature will make it more easy. it is not, but wasted my time a lot. i hope anyone else doesn't repeat my mistake.

So you should be able to search for the question topic within the Microsoft search tab and be able to pull the answer.

it is not that easy. The search bar does not give you the answer. You still need to understand what the question is about so you can better search for the awnsers.

This is certainly a game changer but also a curse cause Microsoft Learn is not the easiest when it comes to getting answers (I find Google to be the best) so we have to take caution.
