For the individuals who are taking the Microsoft Office ProveIt Assessment (Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint), I highly encourage this video. I passed my tests with an overall score of 90.75. I made sure to add the video to my favorites so that if I am lacking in an area in the future, I can refer back to this video. Clear and concise instructions. The individual teaching this video is a great communicator in the sense that he does not bombard the viewers with confusing information.

Amir I just want to Thank You for your Exam Prep videos. If not for them, I don't think I would have done as well on the exams (Word, Excel) required for a job I applied to. They required that these tests be taken BEFORE they would consider moving forward with an applicant. I'm pleased to say I did quite well on them and was called in for an interview!! There's no guarantee I'll get the job, but I'm definitely moving in the right direction!!! Again, thank you so much for having done these videos!!

Was it a government job you applied to? I just received an email saying the same thing, once I take the Microsoft office 2010 exam and pass with 70% or higher I will receive an interview.
If you remember, was the exam hard? How much did you study and what did you study?

Depends if they give you the whole test (excel and word) it is about 45 questions
. If it is not the whole test is is 20 I think.
It is not easy if you do not study..I have been an admin for over 7 years and some functions on Word/Excel I have never used...

I took the test today and got a 97%. Your coverage is extensive; you actually covered more than was on the 30 questions. FYI, right click was not activated on the test, so you must be familiar with the ribbon. Thank you! You are a great teacher :)

I have not watched the whole video yet, but always mention superscript as well. I missed that on a test, and spent about 5 minutes trying to figure out how to do it. And it was right in front of me the whole time.

Hi Amir. Thanks for the video. I've watched it a few times and feel better about taking the assessment. One thing to know is that many of these assessments for employment for Microsoft Office do NOT allow you to use the right click option. You mentioned in the video that they do, but I've now taken several exams that do not allow you to. So this is just an FYI to people when they are prepping. Thanks again!

I watched your video and also took free computer classes in N.Y., I passed my certification test for MS Word 2013 Office Specialist. To be very honest, most of what you are covering is not on the test, maybe 1/3 of it. They are very tricky with the way they set these tests up. Nevertheless, everything you are teaching is very necessary for jobs. All I can say is if you plan to take this test, make sure you know how to manipulate a Smart Art in every way and be able to insert text from files! Amir you are the best!
+NITA Daniels Thanks for the update. The MOS certification test can be very tricky and they will change them very often. So it is best to read the exam objective and be well prepared. All my exam prep are good for Employment based test like ProveIT. Congrats on passing the certification.

In Mac a few things are in different places. So try and use it; if you have to take a test.

where to import text from and how to change document property and also thank you because of you i got passed in the microsoft office specialist out of 1000 i got 757 and the passing marks were 700
+Herschel Pawar Thanks for the feedback about MOS. To import Text you go to INsert - Object - Text from file. For Document Property, click on File and look on the Right side, you will see Properties, make sure the file is saved.
