@@mariahardy1201 I know what you mean. Whenever she was out of his sight, the first thought that came into his mind was that she was somewhere plotting against him, when it was some, really most, of the other concubines
If the Emperor wanted to protect and clear Ruyi, he would have found a sly way if he wanted to. This man has deceived, lied, and schemed throughout the show. He could have schemed ,for the many times people have lied on Ruyi , to uncover you who was setting her up and could have made them fall flat on their faces like he did when the Imperial Noble Consort lied on Hailan. Its because he didnt trust her and wanted to see if it was true or not.
Ahhh, but he already knew who was behind all the set-ups that entangled Ruyi. Do you remember the scene where the Emperor was talking to Yuhu about the investigation into who was behind the Empress Dowager's attempted stabbing and who told Ruyi about her father being dead? He really just came right out and said who it was. You were right.the key words were right there in your comment,*IF HE HAD WANTED TO.*
@@never4ever386 TRUE DAT!!! But I was trying to explain what my reasoning was and why I came to the conclusion I did. But you're right, the story was anything BUT boring!😳😮😯💥💥💥
The concubines frequently outsmarted themselves, didn't they? I wonder, did Concubine Jia ever find out that she actually helped Ruyi when she tried to keep the Emperor at the birthday party ? Just goes to show you evil really does work for good sometimes 🤔😮❤️
I don't get how Ruyi still "loved" him after this. The emperor is a straight up instigator and monster who has no redeeming qualities. I know a large part is supposed to be about how the throne "changed" him, but hard things don't change a person they just reveal the core of them. And at his core he freaking sucks!!~
I asked this question too...after he locked her in the cold palace and then easily believed she would cheat on him. Not the last time too. He started accusing the guard. He was more concerned about his ego than anyone's reputation. You can't slander the emperor and hardly any harem drama reached outside the palace so it was just one man controlling the narrative.
@@chloesblueThis is the way that I see Ruyi's feelings for the Emperor. Childhood love, newlywed love, mature love, then love with acceptance, and (after he made a pure and divine fool of himself and her where Consort Rong was concerned) it was love with disappointment, and after Guard Ling, it was love with hatred (which is still love, just love willing to fight back). I can understand that she stayed with him because of her upbringing (you know, ' the Emperor's kind, wise, and an all around good guy ' crap they fed those girls back then, but for the life of me, I don't even ALMOST understand why she loved him.
😂 girl thought she actually had a chance. It was always going to be either Ruyi or Liyun. Yuyan was delulu thinking she ever had a chance at the empress seat. Even Yanwan was promoted to imperial noble consort just because Qianlong was pissed at someone 😂 it didn’t even last long because the Mongolian consorts ended up not being managed by her in the end
Jia was so full of herself. Emperor was always sooooo quick to overlook her misbehavior but let Ruyi sneeze and he was immediately suspicious. 😅
I think it was because of her family too.
@@Meadowsandmangoes Definitely because of Jia's family.

最緊張的一集。 替李玉急的滿身汗! 快快快快!
李玉著急時我看著也著急😂
而且在這個節骨眼手串還掉到櫃子底下真的有夠倒楣

If everything were so simple and straight forward then the story would have been boring. Get it?
