Afghanistan did not need to attack, it was the Nepali players who had to do the hard work because they were 1 down. You got god knows how many chances not to mention the penalties that make you a bad team.

Big Shame for Nepal, despite trying their best for an equalizer at the end, by taking two penalties, specially when the first one was stopped than the assistant referee raised his flag, but they still lost. Well they should have been given a third penalty i guess.

Who else thinks Mansur Fariyaqar is A BOSS! he stopped two penalties and then an amazing save in the last second. Best keeper in the tournament. And for the second time in a row, the host nation has hired the refs.TWO STRAIGHT PENALTIES! the stupid linesman and ref working together. The 7 MINUTES ADDED TIME! Afghanistan are beast for winning even when the refs were trying to screw them over. Im not hating, I like the way nepal played, but im ashamed of the refs for trying to fix the match.

Afghanistan deserved to win ? Missing a penalty does not mean that Nepal didn't deserve to win. If you watch the match again you can see that Nepal had more possession of the ball and had more shots on target. So who do you think played better and deserved to win ? There's a difference between being lucky and deserving to win. Nepal deserved to win and the Afghans got lucky! Also, Rohit Chand didn't miss the penalty, it was 'saved'. Learn the difference between the two!

Nobody cheated. The keeper kicked (though it seems like instinctive rather than purposeful, it doesn't matter) the approaching Nepali player, hence the penalty. Second penalty was offered because the Afghan players entered the area too early. Don't say the refree wasn't fair when his decision is against you. Anyway, Afghani players played great game and well deserve to win. Nepali team also played great game but missed an golden oppurtunity. Cheers everybody, shake hands.
