      Hard to say but because of how I wanted it set up and how I have set it up, it comes on boost really early and you can run the rpm right down and it still pulls back up again without having to go down a gear. In my eyes it’s a td that revs harder 😂

    Hey mate nice video,new subscriber here. Quick question, I've got a front mount intercooler on my RD28 GQ and didn't think doing a water crossing (bonnet deep) would be a good thing. Do you have any issues doing that in yours?

    • @DanielKistler
      @DanielKistler  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Hey mate thanks for subscribing. There’s no problem with water going through the intercooler. The problem is with thermo fans in water, the water makes the fans hard to spin, so the fans draw more and more power and eventually pop a fuse and then people don’t realise the fans aren’t working until the car overheats. If you have a viscous fan that has a stiff bun or the clearance between the fan and radiator is tight, the blades can flex forward in water and pull them into the radiator. If your viscous is normal and it has clearance there’s nothing to worry about. Having the cooler go through water is actually good for it, cools it down.

    • @christopherpetkovski5371
      @christopherpetkovski5371 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@DanielKistler yep running a Viscous (realised you can't beat them over the years for reliability). My issue was the fact an intercooler is an air intake and although it might cool the material itself the that the intercooler is made from, that it will fill the end ranks aswell as getting electricals/batteries and wiring wet.. maybe I'm thinking too much into it lol

    • @DanielKistler
      @DanielKistler  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      The intercooler is a sealed of unit of that’s what you mean? No water can get inside of it. And as long as your wiring is in reasonable condition you won’t have a problem!
