Hey, just FYI, the pictures you used for the butterfly idea in the video are AI generated and many others on the page you linked (the ones under the main pattern, the pictures in the inspo part) are AI generated. The pattern in itself and the picture attached to it are legit I think (tho I can't guarantee that as I haven't tried it). I know that the main focus of this series is to inspire, not point out the exact patterns to use. Nonetheless there are more and more people preying on beginners selling them poor quality patterns with amazing AI generated pictures and I would worried that someone might see an AI generated picture in a youtube video and then try to find an exact pattern which will be the unreal one. This topic is very broad and I'm sure you're already aware of the dangers of it. It's sometimes really hard to distinguish the real amigurumi pictures from the AI generated so I get that you may have confused them. Other than that I really enjoyed your video and wish you all the best 💜💜
@@elizavetarennieI think the piglet is legit. I've seen this pattern years ago, way before AI amigurumi was even a thing, plus the step by step pictures look pretty legit. Can't say for sure though
I did NOT realize this, so THANK YOU for pointing it out! I’m LITERALLY old enough to be a parent to most of the folks (including Paige & her brother) visiting &/or commenting, btw (my YOUNGEST is 28). I can honestly say, I only RECENTLY learned that AI generated images were even a “thing” in the crochet/fiber arts world! I’m not sure I understand the purpose of using the technology in such a way, you know? I’ve seen incredible applications of similar technologies in my work world (medicine/healthcare), but WHY would people torture folks like myself, for example, who just wish to crochet adorable little toys for my sweet little grandbabies? In the situation where the image is AI generated, does it mean the pattern is also not “real”? Would y’all please KINDLY and preferable POLITELY help educate me on this confusing topic? Thank you so much! And please, try to be kind to one another, if possible. If nothing else, it IS the holiday season; be the cheer! I used to tell our four sons, “nothing nice to say? Do not talk unless it’s helpful. Be. Nice”. Hugs to all you brilliant young minds and makers!!! ☺️🫶🏻🎄🧶
@@Arri59583 I think the problem they discussed is not the AI arts, but how people use them to scam others. They mentioned that there are people using AI to make super cute looking amigurumi pictures as if it's the finished product but the patterns are of low quality or deceiving. They just want to warn us to be more careful for scammers who use AI arts, not criticizing the AI arts nor the video maker
THANK YOU as always for taking the time to make these amazingggggg "50...." crochet pattern videos:)) A couple of suggestions for future ones: - 50 crochet keychains - 50 crochet toys / toy sets - 50 crochet Taylor Swift patterns (updated) - 50 crochet valentines day patterns (updated) - 50 crochet birthday-themed patterns - 50 crochet book sleeves / book marks / book 'accessories' patterns - 50 crochet pet toys / clothes - 50 crochet pet LOVER patterns (like patterns for a human that loves pets/animals, instead of patterns for the pet/animal hehe)
I just got back into crochet, I had dabbled in it briefly years ago, and I only tried blankets/scarves/hats but didn't see much point and never finished anything. Then someone gifted me yarn and i had no idea what to do with it. As I thought about it, I remembered the cute amigurumi id seen online and I immediately became obsessed. I've since done one every night. 2 little roses and 4 little dolls. I'm relearning the basics and slow but I've gone completely batty, bought 20lbs of poly and $150 in yarn (on sale, at least, but it was 58 skeins I'm embarrased but also i do actually have plans for all of them and needed to get a range of colors so i guess it could be worse...?). It's the perfect hobby for me, but the main issue will be managing the physical strain. I'm 35, not old, persay, but my hands are pretty sensitive (arthritis is bad in our family), so I have to figure out how to crochet as much as I want to without hurting myself in the process. I ordered clover amores too. I thought i had been silly buying them like that, seemsextravagant, for a new hobby, but tonight i was really feeling the strain. they're another day or two away but that's better than 3-7 days or spending an extra $10-40 for them at a brick and mortar 😂 Thank you for sharing some ideas, so many I want to make. I'm so excited for when I get comfortable enough with amigurumi that I can start designing my own. Sculpting with yarn, I can't wait but I'll thoroughly enjoy the process! Best wishes!
Hi there! I can fully relate to your hand issues. I hope you've found the Clover Amour hooks as helpful as I have. My grandmother, who had a lot of disfigurement in her hands due to the arthritis I've inherited, was a prolific thread crocheter until the day she died in her mid 80s. I guess the lesson here is that crocheting can be done, even by those of us with limitations. I wish you every success on your crochet (and arthritis) journey.
Just a heads-up that the Spring Dragon was discontinued. There's other cute dragon patterns on the list from that link though. Also, when I clicked on get the pattern for the Hand Rat Etsy said "Sorry, this item and shop are currently unavailable."
Complicated knots has a good free dragon on her channel, but I’m not sure if the style is what you’re looking for…a couple other options (not sure if free) here on you tube are crochet me zeddy and wonder crochet. Both have adorable dragons! I hope it helps you ☺️🎄🫶🏻🧶
I just realised that your channel blew up after you said that, I did notice you have more views now but 132K subs?!!! Crazy, i still remember when I discovered you and I was shocked by how underrated your channel was. Anyways congrats on your success and thanks for the crochet ideas
I looovvee doing amigurumi even tho my flat is getting crowded bc i can't part with any of the really cute creations 😭😅 thank you so much for this video!
Hi Paige! I really love your type of videos, they give me so many ideas when I don't know what to crochet. I was wondering if you could make a Marvel crochet ideas video, since I am a Marvel fan and also like crocheting, so it would be perfect for me, and I'm sure others would enjoy it as well :)
Hi guys, I hope you are having a nice day. I'm thinking about starting an amigurumi pattern company. Is there anything specific you would like to see? Thanks! ♡
I do NOT mean to butt in! I only interrupt at all because a friend of mine JUST told me she found a “big kitty crochet pattern” for free on Pinterest! If it would help, I could ask for the link? Also the channel wonder crochet has an ADOOOORABLE kitty pattern (can be made holding a ball of yarn or a little fishie)! It’s really sweet! I don’t know if it’s free, though she does have quite a few of both paid & free on her channel & website, I hope this is helpful! ☺️🎄🧶🫶🏻
I’ve been trying to find a way to make a Kitsune crochet but I’ve never crocheted before so the pattern I’ve found makes absolutely no sense to me 😅, I still have to get the hook
Thank you so much, I haf adked this a long time ago.. 🤩 So now, I havexa list of a lot of patterns , and you made me discover a lot too! Cant wait to make some!🤩
Can you make a video on amugurimi video games stuff? Or like video game stuff in general (plushies from stardew valley, the sims, and other cozy games that crocheters tend to love)
Anyone can take pictures of cute stuff and post it and tell people they can make this and that.. why not try them yourself before sharing? At least to make sure they are worth sharing
