This helmet looks fantastic, it keeps the accuracy of the stormtrooper helmet without sacrificing detailing. Personally, I would like to see a republic commando helmet from EA's Battlefront 2, or Commander Jet's helmet from the clone wars.💯‼

Dude I make clone trooper helmets as well, except I do them out of foam and I also watch the clone wars while doing it, this like the seventh time I’ve watch it. You’re helmets look so cool and perfect , they look 3D printed. Awesome work!!!! You should make arc trooper fives or Jessie helmets.

@@MakerBrain quite honestly it’s not too difficult if you are careful and take your time! You do need a lot of cardboard tho cos i tend to make many mistakes 😂

Made a cardboard tie fighter helmet and chest plate, they look good, working on some clone trooper legs and they aren’t great yet but they are getting better with each layer of drywall plaster…
I would love to see a full video on how he does that. Making the cardboard smooth is one of the hardest parts and it would be nice to see it broken down in detail. Have you used any particular methods for making cardboard smooth? I have tried "Spacle" (dry wall filler) but it doesn't always work super well.

May I ask what happened with the core rounded cardboard at 6:47? It seems like you placed it somehow a little lower to build the dome of the helmet. Have you cut it out and just reglued it a little lower or is there something else? Before 6:47 the top of the helmet is flat, and after that it has a rim to support the dome of the helmet.
