I do this with my kids with toys clothing shose .we drop off old stuff then they get a coupon and we look new stuff. My 10 year old found limited edition white and gold Steph for $4
I recently got a too big plain mesh men's white jersey and it is super cute with high waisted jeans and a tight bodysuit
i found a vintage, crossbody Prada sport bag for only $13!!!

If goodwill knew about these videos they would never be able to walk inside one again. Goodwill does not allow filming under any circumstance. They did not have permission to film in these stores and I'm surprised they haven't been kicked out. Alot of goodwills have had to put notices up about TH-camrs and if they are seen with a camera or their phone out recording they are to be told to leave the store immediately.

I hope that people know the stuff you find from thrift stores will depend on where you live. Goodwill from LA will have higher end clothing. The Goodwill from my smaller town where i live will not. they might have more outdated clothes than LA.
I live in England and the charity shops near me (thrift store) often send the donations arounf to other stores so that the other stores get more variety. So smaller towns get more high end ect.

Honestly, I drive to thrift stores in more wealthy areas in order to find better thrift items.. I’ll drive an hour if I know the thrift store I’m going to has a lot,of higher end stuff.
It is also against goodwill rules to film in store. Clevver did not have permission to film in goodwill. They never give anyone permission to film in store. They dont let people film to protect employees and customers.

As a single mom of 3. I try to shop in the clearance section of department stores. 90% off and coupons on top. Sometimes 80% off if it's something I just can't walk away from. That would be a fun challenge to see you ladies try to make outfits from a few different stores maybe. Smaller women can fit in many different categories of clothes. Women, juniors, mens, I've even picked up cute ACDC and Metallica shirts from the the youth section.

Thrifting in LA is expensive I found a really nice Ralph Lauren jacket on the website for about $150 and I paid 6.99 for it. Here in Texas

I would love to see you dress each other in thrift finds. Have 3 of you and each buy an outfit for the other. Then each person has to try on both outfits and guess who picked out what and try to guess the cost or name brand inspiration behind the choice.

Everyone’s being too harsh on Maddie. The red purse outfit is exactly what the Hadids and instagram models would wear. The striped shirt is also so common in Forever 21 or Urban. Her electric blue sweater is also perfect for Zara!

I think the bodysuit is find as long as you wear underwear. I know plenty of people that go commando all the time (underwearless) so pretty much any bottom can be affected. I just disinfect anything I get from a thrift store because they rarely do. I have worked for the major ones and they definitely don't clean anything before it hits the floor. If you want even better savings you can ask your thrift store where they send their pulled items. Pull items are things that have been there for a couple weeks and haven't sold for whatever reason. My local stores send all their stuff to a district by the pound store. You pay like $1.25 a pound so the polo would be like 50 cents. You have to dig in bins but it is worth the savings. I target the items with the Goodwill tags because most have been checked for flaws where as the ones without tags usually didn't pass (stains, holes, offensive) and were binned in the backroom. I also shop liquidation places. One I frequent in my area usually sells items for $8 each on the first day and reduces until it's $1 each. No matter what it is. I went to the bag sell and got items for just 7 cents each. All of them where new from Target and Amazon. I got new sandals (off season pull in November) for $1 a pair, new necklaces for 25 cents regular $17, Essie nail polish for $1...you can save thousands.

some info (i worked at Goodwill): clothes are tagged with colors and they get clearanced by them periodically. when they don't sell after a few times, they get rotated to other stores until they get outletted, so you definitely can find anything. HOWEVER, like Erin said, it should be a sport. I've been a thrifter before and after working at Goodwill and it takes really hard work

That Burbank Goodwill is not my favorite Goodwill but I understand it is close to Clevver.I think the best one last time I checked is in the OC, they actually get bougie clothes there. That is what I have heard.
Also FYI check your thrift stores policies on clothing donations. I know for a straight up fact that Goodwill shreds or throws half their donations in the trash. If you say they don't I have peeped it with my own peepers.
