A reason I like Potato Creek is that you can get in as a drive up. They have an equestrian area that you can't reserve unless you show up with a horse trailer. If you show up and there is an equestrian site open, they'll ask, Are you adverse to camping among horses? There might be horse flies. We said of course not, camping among horses is fine with us. And it was, enjoyed hearing the horses. Otherwise, Indiana is terrible for summer rv camping unless you book months in advance. I've read a complaint about camp hosting as a couple is that they will require you to work overlapping shifts making it impossible to have off time together. Sounds like you all were able to work same shifts.

This use to be common but not so much today it is discouraged. Nice park and the Hosts are nice and friendly. If you need help be sure to ask them.
