    There is a special place in heaven for you My 6-month-old Roomba was operating perfectly but wouldn't pick up dirt. After your video I checked the filter and it was so dirty I couldn't even see through it. You just saved me a rip off repair. I was going to toss the Roomba if the repair was too expensive. Thank you 😃😃😃😃😃😃

    This is one if the few videos that shows how the dustbin is removed. Seems really obvious now but I couldn't figure it out. Good stuff!

    Thanks! There was also a lot of hair in my front caster wheel, so I'd highly recommend cleaning that as well. Requires a good pull to get it out.

    Extremely helpful, especially removing the filter. It appears to be clean until you actually remove the filter which I believe is the reason my j7+ was leaving little hair balls behind. Thank you! 💛

    Cleaning the “brushes” (rubbery chevron green wheels) was the error that I trying to look up they come apart to reveal hair all’s and wheels inside of them. I would’ve like that to have been covered in depth a little more. Ps man your vacuum is clean!

    Mine came with a light grey and a dark grey one but the only way it really fits is when i put the light grey in place of the dark grey? And other way around. I'm honestly so confused

      @vivienl176 did you ever figure it out?

  • @CarverTony

    Someone may have already commented. The little swivel wheel is really easy to pop out and clean hair from the axle.

    very good instructions. you should do a followup when it has more hair - where you actually have to clean out the hair. and show knocking out the dust.

    isn't the filter mounted in dustbin cleaning itself when "cleanbase" is running it? is cleanbase causing reverse airflow or am I wrong?
    btw where in this robot is air output - since there is no grate visible on the body?

    • @DIYPinto
      @DIYPinto  ปีที่แล้ว

      @mickk989 check and clean the hepa filter on the roomba itself

    I’m guessing that green thing isn’t supposed to be split in half bc of a killer hair wad then, huh ?! Who knew these things needed maintenance. Thx bro 😂😂😂😂

      Spray it with a can of compressed air and you'll never need to replace it.
