Drummer here, they definitely know how to play, the double bass are from dw 5000, not exactly but probably due to copyright or something like that, drums might be an SJC black satin model, and snare might be a ludwig neusonic black velvet snare drum.
Some relevant facts: - By Foreground Eclipse, one of the many "dojin bands" who make pretty amazing adaptations of Touhou music. The singer is Merami, Teto has the drums and the scream parts; I don't remember who the third member was. Sadly they broke up sometime after Ten Desires...creative differences or whatever. - Yes, it is, in fact, based on Lunate Elf (the stage 2 music of Embodiment of Scarlet Devil). - It's a very dark, angry interpretation of...Cirno. No joke. Merami is singing about Cirno; Teto's lines are from her POV. - This was in an MMD Cup; the 8th, if I remember right. MMD Cup is a prestigious competition which has produced lots of absolutely amazing videos. Including this one, of course. That said...now that I know what I know, I wouldn't go with these characters. The screamer should be, of course, Cirno, the singer Daiyousei, and the rest of the EoSD crew on instruments. But I guess the video-maker was going for well-known with a hint of scary.
I believe during the time this MMD was made, Cirno and Daiyousei did not have a decent MMD model. The ones used are some of the nicer and easier models to animate properly (alongside 1 type of Mokou and Youmu model available). The rest either had frequent clippings, stiff clothes, or just plain flat ugly. Maybe someone can remake this with the newer models.

The Cirno (Eto) model, which is arguably one of the most popular and often-used model in many MMDs, was released June 2012. Daiyousei (Eto) was then released August 2012. So he could have placed the new Cirno model in this while he was working on it for the MMD 9 Cup, but I guess he would have preferred to have both Cirno and Daiyousei if possible.
