    I use an uplula for 9mm pistol. Those 17 and 20 round mags can be tough. Plus with the uplula, my 8 year old son can fully load a mag. I don’t use or have an ar speed loaded. Just the old fashion thumb. But we don’t do high volume shooting with the AR.

    • @stephengilman919
      @stephengilman919 5 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Alaskan Ballistics from the old school GI mags to the Pmags you have to press down on or hold/secure the magazine when you feed the rounds in. As for the AK mag fits securely and doesn’t move when feeding the rounds. This loader is for 5.56/.223, 300BLK, 6.5 Grendel, 5.45x39, 7.62x39. My experience is with 5.56 and 7.62 in this loader. Hope this helps!

    I love love love my MagUla! Not tried anything else. Bought an Ula and have been a fan since. We have seen AR loaders like these selling for $100 and were like hmmm. For the money is it worth it? And is it one of those gimmicks where the guy in the infomercial makes it look so easy but when you get it you feel as if you're gonna need to take a crash course for dummies? Hmmm... lol. You make using this loader look like a whole lot of fun. 😊

    A few months back, I got a maglula uplula, and it works for almost all my pistols (not my .22 LR, unless I put in a spacer). I’d like to try this for loading the 35 round mags for my PPS-43C, in 7.62x25. That’s the ONLY mag I have that’s a pain to load. I wonder if a spacer would work on this? Maybe something simple, like a cord, laid across the trough where you arrange the bullets?

    I have one of these, and I guess I must have gotten a bad one, because it's never worked for my AR mags as it does in these videos. It doesn't sit stable, it's like a table with one leg shorter than the others, the first round seems to jam up and won't load, and if it does start to load, halfway through, it shifts and the last 8 or10 rounds go flying. IMO, it's expensive junk.
