  • Important: 25min 40sec white gears position.
    Remove the brown sponge from the solenoid and glue there a thin plastic piece.
    CM4540 is very similar.
    UPDATE!!!: I found an other video about this issue which is much more simple: • CP3525 Tear-down to 59...
    I haven't tried it in that way, but you should.

    Thak you! I had error 59.00.F0 on a CM4540FKSM and I had no idea what could cause it. After I saw your video I found that solenoid on my printer, cleaned it, and the error is gone, so this fix works on CM4540 as well. Of course it took me the whole day to do it :))). Thank's again!

      Is the disassembly and reassembly procedure similar or same?

    • @mihailelea
      @mihailelea 5 ปีที่แล้ว

      Not quite the same, but after you remove the scanner and the top side, the procedure is very similar. Most of the parts are in the same place, but you have a few extra things because you have the scanner.

    • @scrwdrvr
      @scrwdrvr  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      No, you have to glue there a thin piece of plastic.

    • @ShyRockFreak86
      @ShyRockFreak86 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      On a solenoid. You can never have metal to metal contact, or magnetization will occur. Replace the foam pad with proofing material like felt, or slip 3:8” shrink wrap tubing over the foam pad lip. You’ll never have this problem again.

      52.00: The scanner has experienced a startup error.

    Hi, I will need to do this on the CM3530 MFP (Printer/Scanner/Copier) version of this machine, how complicated is it to remove the scanner/control panel top, or is it necessary to remove it for this repair? Also why is the power supply removed? It does not seem to be in the way, Thank you

    • @scrwdrvr
      @scrwdrvr  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      It is necessary to remove the scanner, but I don't know how complex it will be. In connection with the PS: I don't remember exactly because it was 4 years ago when I made the video, but I think it was necessary to remove it.

  • @BehzadEghtesad

    Thanks for this movie. i have a CM3530 printing fine on USB but cannot connect it via LAN, win10 dose not recognize the LAN. The cable is fine, ip4 is fine. possible the formatter board needs to replace?

    • @scrwdrvr
      @scrwdrvr  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Yes, it is possible, but usually defective formatter boards cause other problems not that one.
      1. Connect the printer to an unmanaged switch or router. If the port led goes on than the link is OK.
      2. Try to check the layer 2 communication. I use Lantronix Device Installer. You'll see if it is OK. (Your computer's connection needs to be OK.)
      3. If the first two steps are OK than you have a layer 3 problem with IP settings.
      You can try a factory reset on the printer, but sometimes it can cause other problems.

    Hi, I finally got to replacing the entire fuser drive assembly but when I took apart the old one the solenoid doesn't seem to stick, does this mean that wasn't the cause of my 59.F0 error or does the sticking not have to be noticeable to cause the error? If it sticks it's for a fraction of a second and barely noticeable, is that enough to cause an error? Thank you

    • @scrwdrvr
      @scrwdrvr  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Yes, because it works repeatedly and the time period while it sticks became longer and longer.

    I replaced the whole fuser drive assembly but now get a 55.01.00 DC Controller Memory error. I've replaced the DC Controller board - still get the error. I triple checked all the connections on the board AND behind the High Voltage Power Supply (upper) - nothing is disconnected. I replaced the DC Controller again, still the error. Any ideas on this?

    • @scrwdrvr
      @scrwdrvr  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      I haven't got any specific hint. But: was the first 55.01.00 appearance after you changed the fuser drive? If yes, then you should search the reason where you "walked" during the replacement.

    • @hitmanbluesband
      @hitmanbluesband 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@scrwdrvr Thank you for the reply, but I'm not sure I understand what you mean by "the reason where you walked during the replacement". Right now, the printer is sitting disassembled up to 19:18 on the video . I didn't go further, because I just wanted to make sure nothing was left disconnected (it wasn't). And yes, that error made it's first appearance after replacing the fuser drive. So I replaced the DC Controller board (twice!) but it didn't make any difference, so I'm guessing it ISN'T the DC PCA.
      Thanks again, and please let me know what you meant.

    • @scrwdrvr
      @scrwdrvr  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@hitmanbluesband I'm affraid that the error was caused be the repair process. A loose groud wire, two interchangeable cable, a poor contact can cause an inexplicable error. You right, the DC PCA is likely OK as before.

    Hi there! I have the same printer (HP Color LaserJet CP3525n) with the same error (59.F0 error). We first thought that the problem was the ITB, we already ordered and replaced the ITB with new one, but still have the same error, and I also hear a noise inside the printer. Do you think it is necessary to replace the white gears and the solenoid, or there is another way to fix this printer? Thank you in advance for your help. By the way, great job!
