CELEBRATING 20 YEARS OF BIONIC HEARING, this clip is the second episode in a series of 20 that will capture the entire journey of cochlear implantation. This clip focuses on preparing for surgery. I felt very supported during the run up to my surgery and, like Christmas, it was over just like that! For this clip, a special shout out to Wia, my very own mentor who supported me throughout my two year wait on the waiting list. And, also, my parents who were there for me then, and still are today. I love you! And thanks for watcing this as I celebrate 20 years of bionic hearing - my very own CI20.
