I wouldn’t call this 100% accurate, but it’s certainly better than throwing the nunchaku, like Sun did, only to have it break either itself or your toe. All in all, I love this video! :D
Damn. At least you can handle the chucks ambidextrously. I'm right hand dominant with the chucks, and my left handed handling of them, even switching from one to the other between chains is clumsy as hell. But yeah, those bloopers where ya clock yerself, I remember all those pains when I was practicing to become proficient. That's no joke. those hurt like a bitch. Great performance. Some people would make fun of ya for recreating the performance in reality, but they have no idea how actually difficult it can be to perform something that impressive looking.
I have been training with nun chucks ever since I was 9. Been training in martial arts from a very young age. And let me tell you, will you are left handed and you switch over to the right hand, the same dam thing happens. But, it's all in the wrists and trusting yourself. That's one thing my dad has taught me really well.

Just gotta find myself an actual pair of chucks to train with again with the right chain length instead of this pair. Ya know, the size that drapes just over your palm rather than being too long to let them hang from it, or too short to pinch on either side when holding the chain itself. Hopin' I'll be able to catch up at some point.
@@rednova2212 If you ask me, I feel like it's better the train with all nunchuck chain lengths. That way you'd be better adapted if you look closely, the red rubber ones are longer than the wooden ones in the video. But that's just my personal opinion. Training with longer length chains, not the longer nunchuck in the video.

But I feel like it is easier to transition from one handle to the other one handed if the length of the chain is just long enough to set on the hand with the lengths draped just aside. But that's probably an ideal length just for that specific movement mid-swing. Still, that statement about the different length chains while wielding the two different pairs of chucks actually makes it more impressive that ya got the whole performance down. Whenever I got chucks they were in pairs of the same length to practice with. That's pretty cool.
