Going to be putting a LS in my 71 Camaro and I have been wanting to use a carb style setup like yours. This in the first video or article that I have seen that shows the setup working with a stock style hood. Did you do anything special to ensure clearance? Really nice car.
Thank you! No special modifications to get it to fit just make sure you use the correct motor mounts and the Holley intake from what I have found has the lowest mounting so it gives the best hood clearance.
thats awesome... the nicest i have seen...!!! great work!!!
Great looking car. This is motivation to get mine finished. I'm currently restoring and LS swapping a 71.
What was the factory motor/trans
Great build well done 👍
Nice car.Thumbs up.
Fantastic job Zach. Very tastefully done. Love that Coven/Speedhut dash and Sparco wheel. Where did you get that steering wheel adapter -- Sparco?
The adapter is a Detroit speed I’m not sure if they still make it it went out of production and they brought it back
Sweet ride. Did you have to mini tub to fit the rear wheels?

how much does it cost to make a car like this. I have a 76 but I want to improve it
Love the build but the hood vent will be pulling air OUT.. "Not pulling air in". (2nd law of thermo).
Its built to be like GM's cowl induction off the Camaros and Chevelles if it worked for them it works for me! Havent had any issues
Hood looks like ass. LS swap is as unoriginal as the other 5 million LS swaps on youtube. Nice ride otherwise, for the most part.
