My approach to investing involves buying silver and other assets on a regular dollar-cost average schedule. As prices and interest rates fluctuate, I may also increase my purchases accordingly. While my primary focus is on buying silver coins and bullion, I also discuss topics such as cryptocurrency and current events.

Far too heavy. Six tubes of ASE and the ten ouncers is plenty. More gold in small coins. Max weight 20lbs. tops.

Good points. I do concern myself with 1oz gold coins or too large of silver bars for only smaller needed purchases. Thoughts?
Too large, the reason I'm leaning towards stacking 1/4 oz gold despite the premiums
@@citystacker Same, 1/4 only here too. I only have one kilo silver bar but its back to that fear of cashing in, as opposed to the 1oz or 10 ozers.

I am not a Prepper either but if there ever was a SHTF situation I would carry a small amount of Silver maybe a bit of Gold , but more important would be a hunting rifle , a side arm , lots of ammo , a good knife and sharpener , a cooking pan and a fork ,some cig lighters , a hatchet something to hold clean water and warm cloths , don't forget a shovel . When I was younger I lived deep in the woods for over a year and these are the things I used the most . No I wasn't some kind of weirdo or on the run from the law , just chose to live simple . I think Gold and Silver will have a use after time has passed but I would only use it if it was an emergency .
Wise people see the chaos unfolding, be it economic, social or environmental, (and possibly all three combined), if you need to stand and survive alone you better be able to be self sufficient. Crypto ain't no tool without electricity. Physical metals will be your 'get out of jail' card. Your stack strategy is prudent, flexible, portable and you are able to go wherever you want, whenever you want. Preparation for shtf is an absolute must. Life can throw a nasty curveball at any time.

I'd dump some of that silver and make sure you have all of your gold with you.
Yeah, anything that stacking together multiple 1 ounce Silver coins can't take care of is what Gold and fractional Gold is meant for. I'd never take large unwieldy Silver bars along with me. I'd probably take 100 ounces of Silver Eagles, 40 Silver dollars (20 Peace / 20 Morgans), 80 Silver half dollars (40 Franklins / Walking Liberties), 160 Silver Washington quarters, 400 Mercury dimes, 40 1/4 ounce Gold Eagles, and 50 1/10 ounce Gold Eagles. I'd leave everything else in the safe. Then I'd take $5,000 in cash weighted toward lower denomination bills. Fifteen $100s, Thirty $50s, seventy-five $20s, thirty $10s, thirty-five $5s, twenty-five $1s. That should all fit in a single but plump envelope. It's also a good idea to keep 3 to 5 modern Gold-colored dollar coins, 2 dollars in modern clad quarters, 5 dimes, 5 nickels, and 25 pre-'82 Copper pennies. Probably would've tried to include a single loaded firearm with a loaded 2nd clip and an unopened box of ammunition for that same weapon. Love the cases though! Keep stacking!
You need some firepower on you if you're going to travel with that. If you open it and start paying people in silver, someone will go rob you
