The old alternator which is likely the stock one has died finally. The vehicle can drive normally due to the presence of DC-DC charger from house battery to chassis battery.
The original design is when I am driving, I can get juice from alternator, but the alternator died, instead of charge my house battery, I am using house battery to drive the vehicle. This need to be changed.

PS: Make sure you change or add wires in case of alternator amperage upgrade.
Thanks for making this video. I am about to replace mine as well but I will go with the same size (im actually trying to see if i can get my original one reconditioned at a local shop). I'm curious why you went with a bigger alternator; Was there a specific purpose or use case for it? And what application where you using to check your voltage on your phone? That was pretty cool configuration. Anyhow thanks for posting this video.
Thanks for watching. I upgrade the alt. because I wanted to use it to charge my big house battery. I can check voltage by bluetooth connect to my Victron chargers.

Know bought other from Oriellys from Wilson I get 13.9 amp when starting but not driving yet tomorrow
What socket you use for alternator pulley
It's been a while, so don't quote me, but I believe it was 14mm.

@@pedrobastos3218 Just use impact driver while belt is on, it came off in a few seconds for me. Hope it is easy for you too.

I bought 2 alternator from Amazon they work only one working 160 miles and stop other only 50 miles
That's unfortunate. Mine worked fine for over a year now.
@@timmysrvlife nice but like saying my trip lost lights at night battery completely and I ordered from Amazon twice and return today I just replace
@@pedrobastos3218 Right, these cheap alternators can have poor qualirt control. But I would also try to look for some other issues, like did you pull too much power from then (eg. recently upgrade to lithium batteries.)
@@timmysrvlife lithium batteries are better than other you change all chassis and house today I just drive to change my front joint ball suspension and aliment test alternator until now 13.5 to 14.1 I drive 30 miles but I don’t use nothing
looks like you have a small oil leak.
