Really op at doing the mushroom gorge ultra. High acceleration so you can’t be punished as much is pretty decent

I always used dry bones bullet bike as a child. Still one of my favorite combos
I always used toad, until i found out different characters give you different benefits and now i always use baby daisy

The main problems with the Spear online, in my experience, are that there are certain course that it just cannot drive on. And secondly, a lot of the tracks you really want to use the Spear on are short cut/luck based tracks. So it can be hard to run on tracks that you want to run.
Yeah, but it’s very rewarding if you get 1st also. It’s good on worldwides since you can get 100cc and then the win is free sometimes, yeah it’s difficult to control but it also makes it fun to use imo. The spear biases may be getting to me idk lol. But I can handle most of tracks fine with spear.
@@dlontabrown I love the Spear. I have way more fun on it than on pretty much every other vehicle because you actually have to think about how to approach corners. That being said, its awful on DK Mountain, BC3, Parkway, SNES Mario Circuit, and then it can really struggle on a few corners on other courses like rBC, GCN Mario Circuit, or Toad's Factory.

Technically, the spear can make every corner if you slow down and hop repeatedly. This technique makes the spear busted
The spear is for time trials, as is probably the best in most courses. But don’t use it for actual races, it’s not that good.

It always catches me off guard hearing it called the flame runner because it was never called that in my region 😂
In PAL regions, the Flame Runner is called Bowser Bike.
Flame Runner is the cooler name anyway

@@autumn4442 I currently have about 4970-ish, but my max vr with this main has been 6894 or 95 if I remember correctly, players on worldwides have no mercy for someone who is basically crippled xd

@Gex Yeah, but the difference is that the spear is actually somewhat viable. Sprinter is one of the worst vehicles in the game, with outside drift, very low drift, and high speed that exacerbates its bad drift. Add in it's massive hitbox, and good luck avoiding any backspam.
Having inside drift is leagues better, even if the drift and speed are roughly the same. There are tracks that the spear is actually good at. There are no tracks that the sprinter is good at. You can, to a degree, be competitive with the spear. You can't come close with the sprinter.
It's not the vr that's impressive. It's the dedication to playing such an awful vehicle because you like it, in an environment where almost everyone picks a vehicle that is straight up better in every way.
I actually really like the Sprinter too, both auto and manual.
Manual can't handle bonus speed very well but Diddy and Birdo give mini turbos some value.
For Auto, Mario gives it a nice pile of bonus stats; Daisy goes pretty fast but with worse turns. Peach gives up weight for a bit more speed+acc than Mario.
I remember back in 08 only ever picking bullet bike dry bones thinking I'll never be able to beat these funky kongs. Eventually I got 9999 license, but you can only imagine how many time I almost smash my controller being sent flying off every stage
To recap: INSIDE DRIFT BIKES. JUST INSIDE DRIFT BIKES.

Well, inside drift bikes. Not a single outside drift bike is listed, even the best outside drift bike is terrible compared to the best karts.
I always used the Wild Wing.. before I even knew it was the best kart.
Really wish they started bringing back kart parts from previous games in the booster course pack. I miss the cloud kart from MK7

As kids I'd always used dolphin dasher and my siblings all used shooting star. They all thought I was an amazing player but truth be told, I just wasn't using a trash vehicle

It's kinda trippy to me how the Bullet Bike has the best MT stat, but the Mini Beast has the best mini turbo over all because of orange.

I used to always play a mic of lightweights and mediums and then I fell in love with funky kong on the flame runner just because of his audio lines. I ended up finding some hilarious skips with it too with no mushroom. Had friends freakout at how far I got. I lapped one on rainbow road.
I remember maining the Wario Bike when I was little just because it looked cool, I had no idea how trash it was because I was just having fun
I didn’t even know that the bullet bike was that good my 7 year old mind just loved Toad and The bike crazy o was using the 3rd bets vehicle
For everyone who don't know you can use Y instead of the up-directional button to do wheelie or getting boost on ramps

I was playing a modded Mario kart Wii (Mario kart Wii deluxe [blue, red, green]) and didn't realized it's only on that mod you can use Y to do a wheelie... 😅

You should do top 10 mkw characters
#10). Daisy - the undisputed queen of the mediumweights, however her status as a mediumweight means she gets shafted as she can't abuse the Flame Runner, so she'll just have to settle for 10th place.
#9). Waluigi - he's got acceleration and drift acceleration but sadly that doesn't do much for the Flame Runner. The drift bonus would make him better than #8 but sadly the drift stat is a lie. Also he just got nerfed (kinda) in MK8DX. Waluigi's in a bit of a dark place at the moment.
#8). King Boo - for the 4 people that still play Riibalanced, King Boo is sadly not that good in vanilla. He has handling. Woopeeeeeee...
#7). Bowser - sadly the funny skeleton man just can't cut it. MT is pretty based but offroad is useless on Flame Runner (on 200cc Bowser's offroad actually gives him a niche as it allows the Flame Runner to drift offroad, but 200cc is ILLEGAL).
#6). Donkey Kong - he exists.
#5). Wario - he also exists, but slightly moreso than Donkey Kong due to the higher MT. Also has weight over Bowser.
#4). Wet Bowser - Wet Bowser has speed. That automatically makes him better than the other characters on the list. Also, nobody uses Wet Bowser online. WHY DOES NOBODY USE WET BOWSER ONLINE IT MAKES NO SENSE AAAAAAAAA
#3). Heavy Mii - they give MT as well as speed, which is why they rank above Wet Bowser. Their stats are a lie too as they apparently use the stats intended for Medium Miis or something?
#2). Rosalina - idk if Rosalina has better stats than Mii or not but her stats are legitimate so I'll give 2nd place to her. LMAO EAT DIRT TRYHARDS!!!
#1). Funky Kong - same logic as Wet Bowser but with even MOAR SPEED yayyyyyyyyyy

This isn’t as easy as there’s certain character/vehicle combinations better than others. Like using Peach with the Sneakster might be better than Daisy because it’s already fast and you may need Peach’s extra drift stat. Also Dolphin Dasher is way better as Yoshi than with Daisy too.
@@jesuspernia8031 Fun Fact: Peach doesn't actually have a drift stat. The stat that the character bonuses relate to is actually drift acceleration (the stat bars in-game are based on drift acceleration too, though in this case the corrolation is close enough to be vaguely accurate). Drift Tightness, meanwhile, is a seperate thing entirely - and ironically, Daisy has this stat too.
Daisy really can do no wrong in MKW, huh...

for heavy it’s funky kong then rosalina (dry bowser honorable mention on karts)
for medium it’s daisy
for lightweight is baby daisy or baby loogi
Mii (outfit a or b) with Magikruiser is so underrated

I just now got into drifting, but I'm stilling keeping to the mach bike & the bullet bike. Being able to wheelie is helpful in many events

It has the most cumulative stat points, just not in the best places. It's still certainly one of the mkwii vehicles of all time, though.

i like using magikruiser for tracks with good off-road shortcuts like coconut mall's shop shortcut, daisy circuit's stair shortcut, and maple treeway's bridge shortcut
but i main the mach bike cuz i like using my mii
Underrated vehicles
Honeycoupe: Better than the Flame Flyer in every stat except Speed, also has a smaller hitbox than either it or the Wild Wing
Classic Dragster: Per the Mario Wiki description, has four above average stats, three average, and none below average
Shooting Star: Probably the best outside drifting bike in the meta right now, has taken over Rainbow Road in both categories
Quacker: What it lacks in general viability it makes up for in ultra shortcut potential; Baby Peach/Quacker technically has the best stats in the game
Shooting star only dominates one of the rr categories (although it is up there for bike ng) and baby peach quacker is very far from best stats in the game lol. Where did you get that from, some 2008 game article?

You have to mention flame flyer, it has the rainbow road world record, and very good stats, might even be better than the wild wing

The Spear's stats were changed by FJRoyet in Mario Kart Wii Deluxe which makes it much easier to control

As a bullet bike main i am surprised to see its there and my combo is my small mii and the bullet bike and was doing good with it in CTGP
I can't play using the flame runner, might just be me used to the Mach bike, but it has too low of a drift stat
(And sometimes I just go playing offline against CPUs using AUTO Jetsetter, it's fun to use)
Excuse you, Phantom and Sugarscoot are the best vehicles in MKW, and I am not wrong about it!!!

I just learned recently that the karts had stats. I always picked the new vehicles I unlocked because I thought they were all the same
Wind Wing user, never got a handle on inside drifting bikes. I will always pick Yoshi Wild Wing.
