I'm still playing the CPU until I've mastered the damn skill stick. It's been frustrating but, for some reason I love it and keep coming back. Question ...do you think playing the CPU in All Star mode is harder than playing most average players? Please say yes!
Good stuff Brian! I switched from leave zone early to close support. Gave me more options coming up the ice to pass through the trap. Going through a little slower opens up a ton of options also vs aggressive player
From the left side almost line up your right skate with the post (not on but your skate is still in the width of the net) and pull it off vise versa with the opposite side. Not a good teacher but hope this makes sense and good luck in getting your first one hand tuck if you haven't already.
What's the key to skating brianstormed? Like what would be a good method of learning how to move and deke? I feel like whenever Im playing Hut I just play the run and gun style where I sprint straight line sometimes. I just get bumped or striped pretty easily.
I asked the same thing on another page and someone suggested the practice mode in the main menu. It helped learn more moves and dekes more than anything I've done. It's definitely worth giving a try.
I feel you! I’ve realised how much good players use a slower speed to be more agile and fake the direction where they are going. It is definitly the way to go. If you keep going in long straight line, your opponent can easily anticipate your trajectory and hit you (+you’re going to fast to quickly dodge him). What you wanna do instead is quickly click your left joystick to sprint toward the direction you’re going (i.e. Breakout up the wing) so he knows you’re going for the speedlane. When he takes a direction to close the gap, stop sprinting and take one 1 step toward the center so he thinks you’re trying a desperate move to dodge him at full speed. After one step (still without sprinting) you go back to you’re first straight trajectory where your opponent will have lost all his speed and ability to bump you. I guess it looks pretty obvious, but applied correctly and with practiced timing, it’s godly. Generally, you want to fake going different directions (without sprinting = more agile) as long as you have « time » before your opponent closes the gap so he loses momentum enough for you to pass beside without being hit/bumped.
However, I have a few more questions. Is it a bad idea to continuously enter full speed. I find myself getting hit while entering a good 5 times each game. All I need to practise now is getting the puck out of my end and getting chances in the offensive end. Thanks as always. I'll apply the tips and I'm sure it will help.
Its not a bad idea, the bad part of it is consistently doing the same thing and being too predictable. You need to switch it up. If you can make your opponent expect you to go slow, you can then burst by him full speed
Yeah, ever since tuner I've had a lot of trouble beating the 1-4. If I can get in the zone I'm good, but if it's not a fast break the AI seems to play it perfect against me. Felt I could lure defenders so much easier before.
Dump and chase sucks in real life too. I watch Detroit do it a lot (especially at the start of the season) and it led to constant turnovers and no shots on goal.
I have an off topic question sorry... What is the correlation of poke check rating and discipline? There's an alumni that has 93 poke and 54 discipline? Thanks
There is no off topic questions around here, no need to apologize :). As far as im aware, discipline does not affect poke checking. Whether or not you trip someone is entirely on the stick checking attribute. Discipline determines whether your hits turn penalties like elbowing.
My biggest problem is creating space and not getting destroyed Everytime I get the puck. It always seems like the second I get the puck, someone blasts me. Help!
What game mode can we create our whole team from top to bottom like players, mascot etc......then also use that team in HUT?? I been playing two weeks in HUT started with Tampa bay original but I got player cards and stuff overall team is 88 Xbox one gamer tag is gretzkyfan99649
HUT is separate from the offline game modes. In Franchise Mode you can build your whole team from scratch however you'd like but you can't bring it in to HUT. HUT is only for online and you can choose what players, logos and jerseys you want
@@Brianstormed wow. Would've never guessed. I came across this on Facebook. The video quality was poor on there. The color looks like neon yellow green.
What league are they in? Thanks for the reply and video. A lot of people are trapping after the first goal or couple of rushes on me, so I will use these tips.
Ok, I'm very frustrated, I don't know how the settings work but I'm tired of playing folk who's AI is ramming or charging my players as soon as I get the puck, I try to and don't know how to do the same , run up to them and just stay a stick length away. At this point I don't care if I'm a camper , just trying to fight fire with fire. Help appreciated .
Well it could be a number of reasons. I bet it's most likely that your opponents have spent hundreds of dollars on 90 OVR loaner cards, so their 90 OVR A.I. is going to ram the shit out of your 70-85 OVR players. That's HUT for you, pay to win.
I just cant understand the pokecheck logic by ea. I pokecheck often but the puck almost dont move and he always get the puck back cause of it. Its so stupid. This gm broken cause of that.
This are good tips, but my players are never open anymore. I can't beat anyone in competitive seasons
BlueKsilver the tuner makes ur team shit

@@guyk4373 No. Even playing the CPU on Superstar is probably easier than playing a real person if their halfway decent at the game.

Listening and watching someone who knows hockey and has experience playing the game. This makes a lot of sense to a newbie like myself
I have found the new god tier goalie, atleast for me. Mike Vernon is a god!
I have some issues with scoring goals. I got the shots on goal but not that much goal out of it. Any ideas or tips? Nice video btw!!!
I needed this so bad
cause i'm bad
I like using my center a lot until one defenceman commits on him leaving one winger wide open every time. The eashl 6s strategy lol
Yeah this is a pretty good strategy when you are up by a goal or more. If you are down a goal you may find yourself killing too much time
Why doesnt the aim stick work online ? I noticed that in my games as well? Thank you for your help!
i need to master that one hand tuck!!! i hate that move because i can't do it
Its definitely a must know move this year

Great vid. If you guys need more. Watch game of tv and stop just Looking at the puck holder. Look where players are
Played my first online game in weeks and managed to pull out a 4-1 win, thanks for the tips KSI.

You found my video on facebook? Huh. Cant say i post it there. Did it get posted on a page like EA SPORTS NHL?
Happy that these tips could help! I believe they are a part of the DEL league
All they do is do the stick swing and just stop moving backwards
You can set your AI to chase the puck after its dumped

Is there anyway to one man cycle like you were able to in past nhls?
What do you mean by one man cycle? That sounds like skating around without passing it in the offensive zone
Brianstormed yeah like that but like basically like skating around, using agility and stick handling from forehand & backhand and opening space
finished 18th in hut champs
actually so hyped
Very nice!

I dont know y ppl think they are skilled playing ones... it's all what the AI does and where they position themselves. And where they dont .
This is all wrong. Just circle with one guy in the faceoff dot for shortside. Its the only move after the update
XD
