I feel like its internalized sexism. I know it sound like a reach but let me explain...A lot of girls are raised with things like "boys will be boys!" "you have to be a lady and not provoke him cause he is a man and cant help himself" and just overall, not giving boys any responsability for their actions. So a lot of times that internalized sexism comes out and women blame other women intead of realizing that the men are 100% responsable for their actions and should be held accountable. Women blame even themselves a lot because of this fucked up societal standarts.

I wanted to be super honest and open with you about where I’ve been! First of all I haven’t talked to any of you since before the holidays so I hope you all had an amazing holiday and Happy New Year! Hopefully 2021 has brighter days to come! I’m typically a generally very happy person. I wake up every day with a smile on my face regardless of the circumstance. I’ve never really struggled with depression or anxiety so to even be able to recognize what that felt like seemed foreign to me. I guess it started the first or second week in December when I found out that for the first time in 29 years I would not be able to see my family or my grandmother for Christmas. My first niece was also just born, so that meant not seeing her either! It was really hard on me and I know we’re all dealing with our own personal things and I know that people have it way worse than I do and I’m fully aware of that. The holidays have just really hard for me for most of my life and I really changed that around as an adult and it was just hard to feel powerless over the situation and know there was nothing I could do. It started off with that and then some personal things happened but essentially I think I was just very depressed. I didn’t want to work. I didn’t want to film. I didn’t even want to get off of my couch most days. I couldn’t fathom sitting in front of a camera and pretend like everything was ok. I also don’t want to film and be like wah I’m sad. Like no one cares lol. That’s not what you’re here for. Just know that not a day went by that I didn’t beat myself up for feeling like I was letting you guys down. I missed you guys! I love you guys! And I’m sorry! I’ll try to be better with balancing work and personal stuff. I really want to hit the ground running this year and even though I may not have started off on the best foot...I plan to make it up to you if you give me the chance 💛 xoxo Katy

Personally, I see it as a “cleansing of past energy” or negative energy. Like, now they can’t affect you anymore. It’s better than going around being mad, sad or wanting revenge as some people do.
I've done it too, some people won't listen or can't be reasoned wit so instead of getting confrontational, the better option is to ghost them, its not petty, its looking out for yourself and what's good for your health

Well his girlfriend and I got together, early in the day, and should I say wine was involved, so when he walked in the house, he got more than he bargained for🤣🤣 The look on his face was priceless, and divorce happened shortly thereafter!!!TFS

In my late teens/early 20s I was also dating this guy who I had known since I was 13 and we always had something going on but I wasn't really ready until I was 18. Turns out he was also dating another girl at the same time and that girl actually attacked me when it all came to light. I was like "no need to fight, you can keep the whole ass boy, I don't want any of him anymore". In the end I cut ties with him and he continued dating other side chicks while she turned a blind eye for a while. He ended up dumping her for another girl BUT not until he had texted me for a second chance and asked our mutual friend if I was serious with my then boyfriend. Some people are clowns and it shows.

when you said acting like someone doesn’t exist!! I FELT THAT!!!
In my story, my boyfriend of 5 years at the time, whom I thought Id marry and have children with, had plans to move countries with and so on, slept with his best friend's sister two months prior to our flight!!! Mind you, we were not moving countries just to work and stuff, we were going to study at universities and basically start a fresh new life. We had to have final language certificate exams, we had a couple of serious events planned, I lived with him (my dad kicked me out, so it wasn't like I could just go back home), so the whole thing was a big shock to me. How did I not see it happen? I guess I trusted that boy too much, but we live and we learn...
He was a guitarist as a hobby and a sound engineer as a career, so half of the time he spent in his rented studio recording or just doing his thing, hanging out with other musician friends, jamming, demoing shit and then working on it to learn.
The girl he slept with, he knew for 14 years (respectively her brother too), she liked singing and wanted to study that and her brother was a guitarist as well. My ex, like a month or two before we broke up due to his cheating, was hanging out with that chick in his studio for suspiciously long spans of time and I mean like 6-7 hours, just the two of them. I haven't seen him spend so much time with her before, but I thought it was because her's and her brother's family issues happening at the time. They were very close after all, I thought out of the goodness of my naïve heart, that he was providing her comfort. He was in a way... the damned bastard.
Anyway, one day I come home from work and I find him in our bedroom chatting on his phone and I ask who he is texting with, he then proceeds to act frustrated and stressed out. First time I ever see him protect his phone so fiercely, when I attempted to jokingly steal it out of his hand. So in that particular moment, I knew something was up and with whom he was "upping" it with, I just needed to confirm it for myself. Later that night I snuck behind his back while he was taking a shower and checked his phone - ofc he had deleted everything, there was no evidence of anything.
A week later, I am at home, he is out with friends drinking. I call him to see when he is coming home, he says in two hours...I dont think I need to say that many hours later, I went to my empty bed, heartbroken. I was sure he did it this time for sure. I didn't speak to him all day, nor did I come home on time - I waited to be back when I was sure he would be asleep.
When I went to bed, he woke up and attempted to hug me. Said something along the lines of: if you had been there with me the previous night, things wouldn't have been like this now. I went to work the morning after, didn't say anything again. That day I dreaded going back home even more, I called my best friend, had shit ton of wine and later in the evening I attended a party I knew my ex was going to go to at his best friend's place. Alcohol gave me enough balls to be able to muster strength to confront him about her and when I saw the look in his eyes, I didn't even wanna hear the explanation he so desperately tried to give me. I just bitch slapped the nose outta his face and left.
I struggled for over a year to recover, but I did eventually. Now I am engaged to my current boyfriend of 5 years and this experience is just a mere lesson that I carry with me. People change, sometimes for good, sometimes for bad - take what u can out of the situation and learn from it, that's all you can do. Forgive if you can, but don't forget! Pain is natural and normal, let it flow, but not consume you! Light sometimes finds you, even if you have really gotten used to the darkness, it takes a flicker of an eyelash.

I found out my ex was cheating on me during our relationship (6 years and 13+ years of friendship) after we'd already broken up. One of the girls apologized and told me literally everything and made sure I was okay. The other one, who he is now dating, told me to suck it up and f*** off. Some women don't care. I'm happy Katy just dropped him and acted like he didn't exist.
I am so excited about this new series you are going to start. I think this is an awesome idea. No judgment zone here so no worries girl. We all have a past, I’ve been there done that and ain’t proud of it. But it is made me who I am today.

I love this idea of the advice videos! Once it gains some traction you should start a Patreon account, where people who pay to support you, get priority of their questions answered or something like that. That way you could make some extra money while not working. Just an idea 😘🤗 I'm local to Las Vegas as well and would totally support you. I feel so hard for those of you in the Industry that have been hit so hard by the Pandemic here.
Also. I 110% understand the depression and anxiety about everything that is going on. I have suffered from Chronic Pain for over 4 years, where I wasn't able to go home for the holidays for the 2 years before this even happened, and have had to not be able to do other major things I wanted to with friends and family.... And then to have this all happen on top of it.l, with me being Immunocompromised, I haven't left the house for anything but essentials or doctors appointment since April. And I am not saying this for sympathy or anything like that. I just want you to know I have so much empathy for you and understanding what you are feeling and want you to know you are not alone.
