Thank you! I’m not a med student, but I watch your videos to get a better understanding of anatomy bc of congenital health problem. I just had a left leg ablation of the GSV a week ago and my formerly hideous varicose veins are gone, though some still present themselves, and after watching this video I can see how they too will eventually go away since the GSV was cauterized. Right leg ablation coming soon and I can say good riddance to those nasty looking veins that appeared like small garter snakes under my skin.

Had prior DVT, and still issue with leakage around lower anterior great saphenous vein, thx for making me qualified to discuss with DR.
Same, but after suffering eight solid years with leg ulcers being just managed by the NHS, I referred myself to a specialist vein clinic in London where I paid for a Duplex Vein Mapping Scan. It transpired that I had hidden varicose veins. I later had EVLT on my GSV and SSV, together with Transluminal Occlusion of four incompetent perforators, followed by the necessary eight week gap with Ultrasound Guided Foam Sclerotherapy. This was all done in 2018, was the best money I ever spent and I haven’t looked back since.
Incidentally, my GPS had not a clue if these treatments.
@@eveoakley6270 just wow I’m not quite sure what you just said lol but I’m going to screenshot this and check it out. Thank you.
