I love my Paula Babies, I just wish Sezane made a closed-heel version for autumn/winter. I need to wear tights with my skirts and dresses and having them visible on the heels feels weird. They do make similar closed-heel styles, but the heels are too high for me. The Paula Babies are about as high as I can go and be comfortable, and I always choose a block heel. A 3-inch or higher heel gives me agonizing pain in the arches and puts too much pressure on my toes.

Great video, Mila. I love the Paula Babies but have not gotten one yet since I have a similar pair. I did however purchased the Andre loafer in burgundy/ecru. I purchased on my regular size (8) and it was big. I just returned them and ordered a size 7. They have been sold out and I had to wait for quite some time to get them. I tried the Paula Babies and st feels wrong about those (but my feet are weird). However, I tried much higher showes from Sezane that have worked and I usually don't like high heels. Who knows 🤷🏻♀️

I love my Paula Babies in camel! I wish that tan color was still available, I don't like the beige as much. I got the black ones, but the patent leather was really squeaky and super distracting, lol -- had to send back.
Oh gosh that would be so annoying 🤣 I wouldn’t keep them either! Lol Mine don’t squeak 🤔 I guess the shape of our foot makes the shoes behave completely different! That’s why I’d always recommend people to try on a couple of sizes. Some people say Paula babies are the most comfortable shoes and others say it’s the most painful 🤣🤣🤣 The new beige is cute but definitely more on the pale pink side I think
Hi Mila, I have a question for you. How come you took black in bigger size that purple/burgundy ones? Because I tried both and they are exactly the same. I also have the same problem like you. I am 35.5 and I took 36 which feels too small. When I take 37 it a bit too big. So I took 37 black in the end and now got 37 in burgundy although never in my life I wore 37. I am a bit worried that they will get wider when the leather "relaxes" and that 37 will be even more big. So now I am contemplating whether to remain with 37 burgundy or take them in 36. I would appreciate your thought on this. I see you took black bigger size and purple in smaller size although they are the same fit so I wonder what that is 😅 thank you 😊
I have foot issues too...a very high arch and I need some volume in the toe box. It's a problem.
Hi Mila, do you have any thoughts on the Polished Paula babies? Thank for your the advice on the Patent Paula babies, I will note that they are stiffer and will go with the Lacquer version. Do you know of the Polished versions also run small like the Patent ones?
Hello - I happened to check out the Sezane store in New York today and tried the polished Paula babies. My size is 4.5 and tried 6 which was huge for me. Tried 5 and it worked - basically just need to adjust the 2 straps and make the front part of the shoes not that tight. Bought a size 5 in polished camel online because the store does not have the color I was looking for. Hope it helps!

Hi Emily! ☺️ It depends on your wardrobe, but I think the nude/tan might be the best as it blends with both dark and light colored clothes. Its also a great color for spring and summer, a beautiful neutral. The camel is also a great option. I always feel that wearing tan/nude shoes makes styling a lot easier since most colors will go well with it. If you wear mostly black, greys, darker shades, enjoy wearing black tights/stockings, I’d get a black pair in that case. If you have more beige, brown, ecru tones in your wardrobe, maybe the rosy beige or the camel would be the most versatile.
