Every time I listen to this brilliant man, I come away feeling freed from falsity. I just love Alan Watts & want to thank all of you who make his talks available, 💜 💫 And - the visuals are inspired, adding a different dimension, literally! ⛩️ 🌌
I was asleep when listening to this and suddenly found myself in a living aware conscious dream state.; I realized that we are apart of the universe , I saw a turtle in the near my foot emerging out of sand. In my mind I felt like the rythem of Allen’s voice had brought me on the same wavelength of his mind, I was just meditating and then I was aware of what he was saying. I was captivated by his words and put into a trance. This is a first for me.
I put Allan on right before I get comfortable and ready for sleep. It’s been around 2-3 years now . I’m waiting for my apartment to be finished so I sleep in the corner of my 22 year old son’s bedroom…he says I actually ask Allan questions and that sometimes I don’t agree , with him respectfully.😂. I am not joking when I tell you I thought he was nuts cause I always have ear buds in, he doesn’t know Allan…. I definitely have caught myself waking up and giggling sometimes BUT my son says “ Mom, who the heck is Allan and why are you talking to him EVERY SINGLE NIGHT ? “ He says I have whole conversations with him. 🤭 ‘Bought what?
As one of the most influential people in my life (Alan Watts) sometimes I feel dependent of your talks as a reminder and you've already passed away goes to show how much we don't know
I love you, Alan! What a gift to humanity. Not only describing the indescribable, but doing it with such open honesty and excellence. The Dhamma that is beautiful in the beginning, the middle, and the end.
Eventhough I'm still not through watching this video, i seriously intend to rewiew it often, those fortunate enough to know me (lol... Jk) know I'm passionate of existentialism as well as an admirer of Alan Watts and can listen to the hero formally known as Alan Watts, ergo, this is a damn GOOD one!!
Alan and Ram Dass are the most articulate and succinct and self-deprecating "philosophers" on the planet. Well,.. were......so...time for us to step up to the plate.....yeah?

I feel Ram dass glorifies his ‘path’. he likes to be worshipped, he doesn’t really get it. He carries his raft around, he never drops it. Always clinging to it.
I'm 40 mins into this and he just rightfully called the audience fools and that we can all get off our asses and do something if we will it. Guide them.
Man has made a lovely natural enviroment ..into a let me control everything frankenstien model...look at the way people enjoyed there Island paradise long ago and still do..theybare one with natur and universe letting it flow ..not too much " Radar " required..🏝🥳💥😃
I was cooking meet on the fire today, wind blowing through hair, my earthly father next to me, and I realized even more my relationship with this planet and its inhabitants, there were 3 or 4 birds pirched on electric wires, i went into a trance with the meat cooking and music playing, they watched, they talked, and then they parted ways, i reflected, than processed, and also parted ways❤

I have some of the official audio CDs as well as cassette tapes. But most of these can be found here on YT anyway, just a bit out of order. If you dig around, you'll find them all. 😉✌️

I wonder if this is a deep fake. Voice sounds a tiny bit different than typical Alan. Could also be natural variation. Famously, Charlie Chaplin came second in a Charlie-Chaplin-Impersonation-Competition.

However, altered or not. Still Alan, still his Heart and Verbiage. He would probably laugh if someone chopped up all his recordings and said, “ Here ya go, have a ball!” Thank you for putting it out Here

Great talk! Thanks for posting it! Do you think Alan Watts experienced awakening or studied it to the point that he could explain it? The later seems true, as his recount mirrors Sadhguru's one. Alan's insights are remarkable for the 70s (he died before I was born). Interesting this lecture was only posted 1 month ago...
