I don’t even think I could really see a seam or anything!! I seriously can’t wait to see what you do with this in the coming episodes!! (Also of course, it was wonderfully relaxing too!)

I couldn't buy it when it came out! 😭. I just couldn't fit it in the budget last week. I also read a bunch of reviews and am feeling less excited about it. ;__; honestly, the trailer had me worried it was going in a direction I wouldn't like and from what I am hearing, that's the general consensus. Please give me your opinions! I wanna know if I should bother setting aside the money for it this month! And thank you so much, it was such a crazy amount of work to get proper takes for both those parts considering how short that segment is!
@tranquillily Totally understandable about the budget thing. Normally I don't buy games on release day because I need to save money. Made the exception for this and...I am of the mind that while I enjoy the game, it's vastly different from Dragon Age and more akin to medieval Mass Effect. Combat is a lot simpler, which is fine, but I miss Inquisition's tactics and being able to switch to a more useful team member when I needed to. The look of the game is also a bit too soft. Inquisition always felt bleak, even in the wilds that had beautiful scenery. This feels a little warmer but it takes some of the dread out of the atmosphere. The story is decent, so far but takes a long time to really open up. Like....10 hours to assemble the team. The characters are decent, if not underwhelmingly familiar. (Cookie cutter versions of rpg tropes we've all seen before. Not terrible, but kind of anodyne in nature.) If it was more Inquisition that you wanted, I can only say it doesn't hit that mark early on. Should you save up and get it at full price? As someone who also has to budget, I would say grab it on sale, when you're able. I don't hate the game, but Inquistion just hit the mark for me in ways this one isn't quite doing...yet. Er...sorry this was too long. 🤣

@tranquillily Sorry, quick ramble on characters. I'm big on character interaction, as well. (Big fan of Fire Emblem, Mass Effect and Persona games for the personal interactions.) As mentioned, this borrows from Mass Effect in that you get companion missions. These are generally light on combat and have you just getting to know your potential friends a bit better. Some feel more fully fleshed out than others, but there is a lot of opportunity to strengthen bonds. I'll keep you posted, though, of course. 🙂

5 IUI’s ago I first discovered this channel and from day one I was hooked! Back in May I started my journey of rewatching some older ones and understanding & piecing together more of the lore.
