You SNAPPED on this style! I did these same twists last summer but learned a lot from this tutorial, now I want to do it again this summer lol. Great video 💕
Thank you so much girl! I’m glad you were able to learn a lot from this video so you can apply them to your techniques. Let me know how they turn out!❤️
This is the BEST video I've seen doing braids or twists over locs. I like that you weren't afraid to feed in from new growth. Smart and gentle to protect your locs ❤
Hands down these are some of the best twist I’ve ever seen over locs 🙌🏾🙌🏾🙌🏾🙌🏾.. they look soooo light and that does make sense to feed the hair in I never thought to do that I always do braids and twist over my locs and always wondered why it would be so damn heavy . Pay day can’t come quick enough cause I’m definitely trying this !!!
I love and appreciate this video. It is very detailed, concise, and easy to understand. Also, I love that you start adding the wavy hair in underneath where the loc ends. For me, that what make take down quicker because I would know where to cut.
Thank you soo sooo much for all of your feedback on this video. I’m happy you received so much value from it🙏🏽 and yesss, it make it easier lol and it keeps it from getting super tangled. I didn’t use expensive human hair so this technique helped!
This is the best method I’ve seen. I have locs myself and your right without splitting it the weight of it is unbearable. Can you do a take down video?
Beautiful locs and beautiful braids. I love to put styles over my locs but my roots are too sensitive and the weight is too much for my hair around my edges. I love your hair, it looks stunning. ❤
Thanks for making this extremely detailed. My locs are similar to yours in length and size. But I would like to know how many locs you have because I have about 100 locs and I fear this style may be too big and bulky on me like with other styles I’ve done in the past. I suffer with vertigo and unfortunately I cannot handle the big bulky styles but this looks like it might work for me.
Thank you so much!! And yes, this technique is great for twists and braids. And no it’s not. I purposely did this method so that it wouldn’t be heavy on my head.
It took me awhile. Not even gonna hold you. Probably about 8-10 hours. But i broke it up into a few days. It also depends on how many locs you have, how long you make the twist & adding the curly pieces in between makes it take longer.
this is an amazing video and im gna save and like because if i ever wanna do this im coming here but this made me realize im not cut out for this. i did faux locs over mine but they were super heavy and not practical(also cut off a loc lmfao) but ig it takes work to get them looking good…
Nope, that’s why I incorporated this method. A feed in method with small pieces of hair vs the traditional way of using an entire strand of hair. It was extremely light.
I’m trying to do my daughters hair like this. She has locs & I’m struggling 😩😂 I need to place some orders cus all I have is the hair. I gave up yesterday but today I’m determined to get it done.
If it helps, combine multiple locks together & just make them bigger. That might be easier. Let me know if you’d like me to make another video with a simpler version. It might not look like these but will be more jumbo, like the braids I just uploaded on Sunday.
Thank you queen💖 as long as the texture is similar you should be fine. I would have to see a photo of the kinky hair that you have. I love Marley because the rough texture is perrrfect when matching my locs to it.
Omg I appreciate certain things you said like basically the placement of curls almost like a roadmap even for taking down. Also the braiding and curling even with textured hair like it makes a difference even if the hair is already curly. When I was picking hair to use I had a hard time mentally wrapping my mind around hair matching... I got Brazilian wool but i really should have got Marley hair
Yesss, it’s important to get the right hair, I’m so glad you mentioned it! It does make a huge difference. I’m glad this video could help give you some insight. If you tried this style, let me know how it came out
This was soo helpful!! I feel empowered now to try on myself. I wish I had found this video before I booked an expensive hair appointment. 🥲 very well explained, presented and love the links added in so I didn't have to search products. They look great!
What if my locks is down my back, that will take forever. Have you thought about crocheting bo hair into the locks if your locs is super long? I want the boho look and thinking I can just add the curly hair with a crochet needle to my loss huh? Maybe?
That’s not a bad idea as long as you’re able to remove them💕 maybe you could wrap it in sections around your locs too. Or tie them. That would actually be so cute
I’m assuming because you have more locs, they’re a little smaller than mine or about the same size. You should still be good with the same amount of hair as long as you use smaller pieces. Just get 2 extra packs of hair to be on the safe side.💕
Hey Sis, you did an amazing job with your hair. The parts are so neat, I have one of those mirrors when I braid my hair.. I love your natural locks also. The twist are so pretty on you. Thanks for sharing ❤❤❤. New subscriber ❤❤, I do have a channel, pass by and show some ❤️ love.. Take care
Heyyy love❤️ thank you so much!! I appreciate all of your compliments. I’m glad you loved this video. About to check out your channel now☺️☺️☺️☺️ thank you for sharing that with me!

This is the best method I’ve seen. I have locs myself and your right without splitting it the weight of it is unbearable. Can you do a take down video?
Thank you! And yes, it will get wayyyy too heavy. And yes! Sure will❤️
Omg thank you for this!!!. Take down please.

My twists came out quite nicely!!!💯My stylist liked this method
This came out gorgeous you did a great job explaining and doing your hair
This is exactly was I was looking for. Love it! Thanks for sharing.
Beautiful locs and beautiful braids. I love to put styles over my locs but my roots are too sensitive and the weight is too much for my hair around my edges. I love your hair, it looks stunning. ❤
Thank you so much❤️❤️ I’m glad you are aware of your locs and what they can handle. That’s definitely key! I appreciate your amazing complements☺️🤎
I love this method! I'm just going to have to do 2 locs at a time, because I don't have the same patience 😂
lol do what works best for you! ❤️ cause it does take time😂 but it’s so worth it!! I’m glad you love this method!🥰🥰
Whoa!!! That is sooooo beautiful! Haven't seen them done quite that well before. Nice job Sis!
Thank you so much sis☺️☺️☺️☺️ I really appreciate you tuning in and enjoying this video 🤎

So happy you love ittt😍😍😍
Beautiful. Do you live in Atlanta. I would love for you to do my hair!
Thanks for making this extremely detailed. My locs are similar to yours in length and size. I have 104 locs and this is my concern as well
Why not use two locs instead of one that way you will have 50 , not 100
This was so define and instructional! Thank you! Can’t wait to try on my daughter homecoming hairstyle🙏🏽😁! 🫶🏽
Great video 👌🏿✨ very well articulated
I bought the hair to do this style and that braid hack at the beginning of each loc is gonna be a game-changer. I can already tell lol
Thank you so much! I’m so glad you were able to clearly understand the steps in this video🙏🏽💕
lol yessssss, it’s definitely a game changer!! Did you install it yet?
Let’s get that takedown video girl! I’ve been looking at styles I can put over locs that won’t damage them in the long run
You did a fantastic job the best I have seen seen the technique was detailed and looks easy ❤❤❤
does this damage locs in any way? im nervous but wanna try
YOU DID THIS SIS🤌🏾‼️‼️
Ouuuu I’m trying these for my vacation next week! Thanks girl ❤
You did an amazing job love it can you also do a take down process please?
Beautiful
Thank you so much!🥰
Take down tutorial please 💗💗💗
This is GORGEOUS!! 😍😍 Your explanation was so detailed that I'm gonna do this with my natural hair in box braids. Is the style heavy on your head?
Thank you so much!! And yes, this technique is great for twists and braids. And no it’s not. I purposely did this method so that it wouldn’t be heavy on my head.
do you have a takedown video ! i definitely want to try this style out but im scared i wont be able to remove them properly 😢
How long did it take you to complete your whole head?
Also, how many packs and what length of hair did you use?
It took me awhile. Not even gonna hold you. Probably about 8-10 hours. But i broke it up into a few days. It also depends on how many locs you have, how long you make the twist & adding the curly pieces in between makes it take longer.
I used about 6-7 packs of Marley and about 1 pack of the curly, not even.
Whao, so beautiful ❤. Please, how many packs of marley hair did you use?
Girl you absolutely ATE ❤🔥
Love it how many bags did you use
Love love love your locs and this style ❤🔥🔥🔥😮💨😮💨 I gotta do this asap 👌🏽😍
Absolutely LOVE this tutorial❤
Omgosh these came
Out sooooo niceeeee I have to try this method 😍
Love it!😍
I’m so happy you loved it!😍😍
this is an amazing video and im gna save and like because if i ever wanna do this im coming here but this made me realize im not cut out for this.
i did faux locs over mine but they were super heavy and not practical(also cut off a loc lmfao) but ig it takes work to get them looking good…
This looks so good! 😍 did you have any issues with build up from the shine and jam? I want sleek parts but I’m scared of getting build up!
is it heavy?
Nope, that’s why I incorporated this method. A feed in method with small pieces of hair vs the traditional way of using an entire strand of hair. It was extremely light.

That look very good. I will be trying this ,this week
Job well done Queen!!!!!!
These are f i r e you are so beautiful and talented ❤
You’re so talented wow
Can I do this with spring twist hair ?
Love your hair ❤ Can I use kinky instead of marley hair for this style?
Thank you queen💖 as long as the texture is similar you should be fine. I would have to see a photo of the kinky hair that you have. I love Marley because the rough texture is perrrfect when matching my locs to it.
Hella cute! Nice job!
how many packs of hair did you buy? i really want to try this on myself ❤❤❤❤
Amazing job!!! How long did it take to do them?
Wonderful job😊.. I will be doing this style on myself. How long did it take you?
Wow beautiful 🥰🥰 Did you really only use two packs of hair. I can’t believe that’s all you needed. Beautiful style ❤
Omg I appreciate certain things you said like basically the placement of curls almost like a roadmap even for taking down. Also the braiding and curling even with textured hair like it makes a difference even if the hair is already curly. So cute! Love it. How long did the curly pieces last?

Thank you for sharing!
nice loc video!!!
I’m going to be doing this soon before school. How many locs do you have by the way?
How many locs do you have?
Hi girl! How many locs do you have? I want to do this style but I feel like I would need more than 2 packs 😅 you ate this btw!
How many packs did you use
Gorgeous

I’m so happy you love it🤎 thank you!
You kilt this omg can you do mine before labor and delivery 😂 cause I don't think I can someone to do this like this 😊
Beautiful! Gonna try this on my locs! I see you only used two packs of hair! How many locs do you have?
👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾 🔥 🔥🔥 take down
What if my locks is down my back, that will take forever.
This is great but I have 115 locs 😢how many packs of hair do I need?!
I’m assuming because you have more locs, they’re a little smaller than mine or about the same size. You should still be good with the same amount of hair as long as you use smaller pieces. Just get 2 extra packs of hair to be on the safe side.💕
Thank you for this

No i don’t💖
I want to try this so bad but I’m not confident in my abilities to make it look good as yours 😓
Take care

Take down!!!!❤
Yes she ate this up 🍿
Girlllll come do my hair 😭😭😭
This is great way to switch up your hair color but don’t want to add chemicals to your locs.
Omg yes! I totally agree. I actually highly recommend that alternative instead because coloring can be detrimental if done too often.
👏🏾
