- I'd been wanting to try out this Scene Card worksheet ever since picking up Lisa Cron's book Story Genius. I think this is a great method you can use for writing compelling and meaningful scenes in your novel!

Hey... thanks for this review. I found it helpful and enjoyed your presentation sytle.
Thanks for watching!!
Hi, thanks for the Nemo explanation, it was exactly what I needed.
Btw, I love your editing and filming style.
I've been prepping for Nanowrimo this week, and I found the Save the Cat Writes a Novel most helpful, when put together with Trudy's ideas about scenes for each Genre. I find that the more structure I have, the better ideas I come up with.
I hope to see your Nanowrimo progress!
So happy to hear this was helpful for you! I couldn’t agree more about having better ideas when knowing the structure - and Save the Cat has one of my favorite beat sheets!
Best of luck to your Nanowrimo project!
Eh mate, I really feel your passion. As a future publisher myself-and being 30 yo having worked on my craft since 9-I can really see when someone has deep passion and meaning for their craft. I think youtube channel is a great way to be accountable and keep yourself on track with your goals. I hope to continue seeing more vids from you. Be well mate. ✍️
Thank you very very much!! I’ve got more videos in the pipeline and appreciate you saying this!
Hey where did you get the digital scene card? I can't find them and looked all over the internet. Thanx for the video it was nice. Nice personality you have keep it up
Hey thank you! I appreciate it 😊 I believe I used the image from this website : ashlyhilst.com/blog/2018/10/10/how-to-use-the-story-genius-scene-card
Really enjoyed your video! Are you a pantser or plotter? My first novel took me 6 years to write, and my second took me 6 months. Scrivener really helped me out, because it allowed me to organize my book (but there's a ton of software available now). At this point, I can write a book in about 1 to 3 months depending on genre, length, etc. Editing still takes me forever though 😂. I just subbed and I'm looking forward to seeing more videos.
Thanks, Ang! I am a hardcore plotter - probably to the point that it hurts more than helps 😅 I love scrivener and have been using that to write this novel! Thank you so much for watching and subbing, I really appreciate it! 😊
@@Lesbiature Same. My outline could easily be mistaken as a rough draft 🤣
How's your book going?
I disagree with with the book because I think writing scenes is with these 5 points of interest

Now that's the beginning for the scene. I also say put Abbie Emmons three act structure questions between each point to have great characters to drive the story.
