I don’t think I’ve ever seen a mission ending in CoD where it ends with the US Government ordering Special Operations troops to execute an HVI. Correct me if I’m wrong though. From all the footage I’ve seen, if this had released I feel like the campaign would’ve been really interesting and fun to play through.
Was this supposed to be on the same timeline as the original Modern Warfare? Because it looks identical to MW2, even the same sound effects and assets.
They used MW2 as base to make this game. This was still early development, so it's typical devs use old games as foundation to develop something new, which explains all the MW2 stuff being leftover.
We are blessed with having instant access to information at our fingertips and this guy for whatever reason can't bring himself to do at least 5 minutes of research. 🤷♂️

Who knows, maybe in an alternate reality, this replaced CoD Ghosts and they never got all the slop after that and CoD remained decent
By there character name and style of storytelling this must by prototype of cod ghosts.
This was the game they were going to release before it got canned and they made Ghosts instead.
They wore the same delta uniform from the mw3 which is an awesome detail
I listned to these radio dialogues at the start and I think it is some kind of TV program just pasted to the mission

Neversoft (The development team behind NX1) had to go help IW with Ghosts. It probably wasn't their decision to cancel the game.
