This is my favorite COD mission. The feel, the tension, the atmosphere, the music, the emotion, the stealth... everything was spectacular and unforgettable.
Why can’t COD developers develop a game along these lines? Crude realism, creepy atmosphere, stressful gameplay. These things made this game the best COD of all times. We won’t see anything like this anymore..
None of the COD games released since this game have ever come close to recreating this mission, no matter how hard they tried. Thee atmosphere, the music, the nostalgic, the changes between slow and fast pacing, and the genuinely tense moments like hoping the enemy wouldn’t accidentally step on you, all make for a masterpiece.

Clean House makes you feel far more powerful than in All Ghillied Up. you've got an entire team invading a very mundane household. sure it's tense but it doesn't feel like you're in a place outside of your capabilities. the margin for failure is also really forgiving in Clean House, which alleviates the tension way too much.
This misson is scarier than many horror games... I remember when I played this misson for the first time 4 years ago....I was very tensed and too much excited.... This is an iconic misson

Shh : 4 tangos inside don't even think about disturbing the opponents in the main room on the left especially on veteran mode I've taken them out before multiple times though, it was pretty hard to so basically it's not worth it
I think the best part of this entire mission other than the pacing of everything is the subtle voices in the background, it’s almost reminiscent of more beautiful,simpler times before the fall. This mission as a whole…It’s poetic… it’s a masterpiece

It's weird, I literally played this mission a couple days before the whole russia ukraine thing started. Cod 4 seriously nailed being "Modern Warfare", it is still relevant, and a lot of the same global tensions are occuring today. It's crazy how accurate they used to portray the grim side of war.

@@Caesar88888 lol no. this mission is a stealth operation from one of the best special troops on the planet, fighting in enemy lines. meanwhile the ukrainian (lowest gdp in whole europe) army is among others composed of teenagers and mercenary-nazis, trying to "defend" an attack from one of the biggest military armies in the world. completely different scenarios.
The whole gameplay of this mission is phenomenal, the atmosphere and whole look of Pripyat is stunning, would love if they remade a mission like this in the next MW game for 2022.
I visited Chernobyl/Pripyat a few years ago, few months before the war started. We went to the nuclear facility, through the city, saw the Ferris wheel, the hotel, went through some of the buildings. Then our guide took us to an old remote house in the fields that I think was off limits It was fucking awesome.
This mission has actually nothing to do with the current war going on in Ukraine. This mission was dedicated the Chernobyl explosion that happened in April 26 in 1986 which turned the entire city into a Ghost-Town everything alive to be dead 😱
I went to Pripyat in 2018, I couldn't believe how accurate this game was. So Weird walking around looking at all the places and thinking about me as a kid exploring them on COD. Great Game.
I mean, it isn't that hard to replicate an area in CGI anymore. Pripyat has been open for tours and photography for decades, as have other areas around Chernobyl and the Duga arrays.
When I played this for the first time back in 2009, this was top tier COD experience for me. I still feel this is the best cod mission ever made in terms of stealth and sheer tension. I was literally yelling oh shit when trying to maneouver past the whole cavalry in the field. Cod mw (cod4) is the best cod for me in regards for its storyline and game balance. I feel the night stealth essence and vibe you get when you are playing as Soap on SAS missions in cod 4 is lost completely in MW2 and MW3 which focused more on open gunfire marine sort of battle. I really missed that stealth element in all modern warfare games and subsequent ones
This game gives me a lot of nostalgia. When the war started in Ukraine, I remembered this COD's mission right away. This game is a master piece. All the details of Prypiat in this game are amazing.
My only pet peeves with the remastered version of All Ghillied Up/One Shot, One Kill is that, in contrast to the original, the developers added more signs of wear & tear to buildings like broken windows, as well as clusters of foliage growing from them in places. In reality, there would have been little change in just 10 years, and even if you look at photos of modern-day Pripyat, it still looks a lot more tidy than the game would have you think. The other thing is that if you alert the soldiers in the area where you crawl under the trucks, the helicopter now will just hover and won't even attack you, nor can it be destroyed in that area, a change I just find bewildering.
Man the first time I played this mission I was blown away .. even though I had a weak pc it ran so good and the tension was unreal .. amazing .. wonder why don’t they make missions like these anymore ..

me too, the last part I died many times, one of the most difficult missions, also because if you died you had to do it all over again there were no checkpoints

The music always gave me that feeling of What happened to this place? Must have been quite good back then now its all gone to hell. I'm a soldier on a mission to follow my only mentor, with only 1 objective in sight to kill a very dangerous man, only 1 shot at this... Mix of emotions quickly fill your mind but always reminding you of why you are here. This truly is the best CoD mission of all time.
I wish I could see and play this again for the first time. I had goosebumps while playing this mission, my hands was so sweaty because I didn't want to miss a shot. LMAO
I remember as a little child I couldn't pass the first mission, beacuse I was so nervous and it made me so anxios. It really felt like I would be there and live in it. I remember at the second mission I almost got heart attack from the adrenalin. :D So good memory, this mission is just TOP1 forever. Nothing will and can beat this!
@@Daniel-cn5pd First of all its a joke, and at this moment there really was no meaning of Russia taking control of Chernobyl other than it being a straight path to Kyiv, so don’t insult me because I make one small joke just because it reminded me of a Cod mission, and keep in mind I have family in Ukraine, and I completely stand with them and their fight to keep their independence.
Crazy part is if they ran with a AR10 model not only could they shot 30 round mags but the accuracy would have been much higher with less work. The m14/M1A or M21 is a fantastic weapon, in my experience of using them a lot of work and maintenance was needed to upkeep the rifle. Not to mention the price for the rifle to just to shoot 1.5 MOA or maybe less. Comparing that to a AR10 or the SR-25 I would have ran with this reason being it probably could be lighter however mag size would have made that difference but cheaper to maintain, in my opinion more versatile due to design. Lastly free floated barrel and not glass bedded.
I wish we can go back to the glory days of cod like this... Basically if u don’t know this is also in mw 2019 but it is battle royale and that mode contains lootboxes and Fortnite skins... we don’t need non of that bvll$hit... just skins that refers if we become a army and wear the outfit for it..
Agreed, hate all the cross pollination of weebs and neon colors incorporated to appeal to all. This will be the downfall of COD, mark my words; Battlefield 6 gets it, and I guarantee they won’t be doing neon skins and Rambo just to sell us a game.

I only watch this video almost every 10-12 days because I feel the tension, emotions, respect of elders and the most horrible pendamic that occurs in pripyat very sad incident but this all has made Pripyat to not forget for its environment and make it famous for gaming.

I played the campaign and this mission so many times in highschool. Online was amazing back then in 08-09 as well, blue tiger m4 was my go to
I remember playing this game on the hardest difficulty. The last part of this mission was nearly impossible. I died many times..

The music always gave me that feeling of What happened to this place? Must have been quite good back then now its all gone to hell. I'm a soldier on a mission to follow my only mentor, with only 1 objective in sight to kill a very dangerous man, only 1 shot at this... Mix of emotions quickly fill your mind but always reminding you of why you are here. This truly is the best CoD mission of all time.
I wish I could see and play this again for the first time. I had goosebumps while playing this mission, my hands was so sweaty because I didn't want to miss a shot. LMAO

I remember as a little child I couldn't pass the first mission, beacuse I was so nervous and it made me so anxios. It really felt like I would be there and live in it. I remember at the second mission I almost got heart attack from the adrenalin. :D So good memory, this mission is just TOP1 forever. Nothing will and can beat this!

@@Daniel-cn5pd First of all its a joke, and at this moment there really was no meaning of Russia taking control of Chernobyl other than it being a straight path to Kyiv, so don’t insult me because I make one small joke just because it reminded me of a Cod mission, and keep in mind I have family in Ukraine, and I completely stand with them and their fight to keep their independence.

@@vishnuamit7290 yes played all the campaigns and nothing still gives me chills like This mission does. Nothing compares to it.
Crazy part is if they ran with a AR10 model not only could they shot 30 round mags but the accuracy would have been much higher with less work.
The m14/M1A or M21 is a fantastic weapon, in my experience of using them a lot of work and maintenance was needed to upkeep the rifle. Not to mention the price for the rifle to just to shoot 1.5 MOA or maybe less.
Comparing that to a AR10 or the SR-25 I would have ran with this reason being it probably could be lighter however mag size would have made that difference but cheaper to maintain, in my opinion more versatile due to design. Lastly free floated barrel and not glass bedded.

I wish we can go back to the glory days of cod like this... Basically if u don’t know this is also in mw 2019 but it is battle royale and that mode contains lootboxes and Fortnite skins... we don’t need non of that bvll$hit... just skins that refers if we become a army and wear the outfit for it..
Agreed, hate all the cross pollination of weebs and neon colors incorporated to appeal to all. This will be the downfall of COD, mark my words; Battlefield 6 gets it, and I guarantee they won’t be doing neon skins and Rambo just to sell us a game.

This has to be the best mission ever. You felt the realism. The fact it was Chernobyl. The suspense. The battlefield pressure. Loved that mission back in 2007 I think it was on ps3. This came up I my recommendations... Google must read my mind

I only watch this video almost every 10-12 days because I feel the tension, emotions, respect of elders and the most horrible pendamic that occurs in pripyat
very sad incident but this all has made Pripyat to not forget for its environment and make it famous for gaming.
I think this is the best single player mission of all time, or at least up there. Timeless
