Booked this bike a week ago ( Dr.Mayhem color ) and tbh I was confused between this and Interceptor. However, knowing my riding style and usage, I can say that Continental 650 will serve me just right.
I live in NZ and can't wait to see and hear this bike in the flesh. Love the retro orange, the finish seems good though I will need to see it. Not sure of the price in NZ but it will be relatively cheap, or maybe go to India and ride it back! Thanks for a great, well done, ride review. Cheers
Cheers mate, they will be around $10,500 NZ. It appears they will be available about $6,500 in India. I might se if they will sell them ex factory like BMW used to do. The money I save could fund the adventure trip back home. Really enjoying your videos and commentary.@@rajendertkr

Raj tell me . everybody talks About that the thump is gone but the engine performance and rumble seems to compensate more than enough ..do you think it's similar to dominar in terms of engine sound ..or is it better ..if it's better ,then you, as a Royal Enfield lover would like to replace your gt with new one.i mean if we really wanted super performance we could have gone for other refined engines but sadly the reason we don't do so is because we love the character ..do you think ,even though these bikes are different then a R E lover will love them equally ?

Vlog wise i wont say it was a great vlog..due to cam position..the footage on the beach could have become more fantastic with other cam angle.. Rideing by the sea and birds taking a flight as you approach near them..in slow motion..i always like your vlog coz they are simple..more about a relation betwn man and the machine..even this vlog and interceptor one was simply to the point..always like the three 'M's.. MAN, MACHINE AND MILES.... Keep doing what u do...
Anand S K interceptor would be better for day to day use the ergonomics on the interceptor are more for relax riding, where as the GT has a more committed rising position so city riding may be a lil difficult compared to the interceptor.

Raj.. Have you done any long tours on gt535?? How would you compare long touring between the two gts. Does gt 650 is good enough for long tours..?? I ride r15 v3.. And have done couple long tours. How would gt 650 will serve me on long tours.??
Honestly speaking Raj I personally like the older RE Continental GT more than the new one which u ride and the reason is the handle bar .The older one is more sportier than the new one 650 which I feel .

@@rajendertkr i think the max speed is 172 on this bike (as per powerdrift) so max cruise speed might be around 130km which i think is very less for a 650 cc bike
