The stupidity of the flashy flash vs metal bat match up is one of the reasons why in my head cannon garou knocked out metal bat in one hit or a few combo attacks and fought sage centipede on his own instead of them teaming up.
Plenty of characters got buffed during the monster association arc, like Puri Puri Prisoner and Fubuki. So it's not really contradictory for ONE and Murata to give Metal Bat some better feats as well. To be clear, obviously I don't think Metal Bat is faster than Flashy Flash, since Flashy Flash's whole schtick is his speed. But I do believe that Metal Bat has better AP and durability. Which is pretty much consistent with their themes.
I think the most logical interpretation of the speed of metal bat and sage centepide is that garou was not going at maximum speed. It would not make sense that metal bat base, which could not defeat asura kabuto, nor could it defeat human garou or cenior centepide, is faster than flashy flash or platinum as some claim. It's that even full of fighting spirit, the narrator still says that he is abysmally inferior to garou. And only when amplified by garou can it break sage centepide's exoskeleton, something that monster garou in base, without using breathing or their martial arts, could do as well.
To be fair, the simulator couldn't detect fighting spirit, so it stopped the fight with Kabuto prematurely. We know that Metal Bat can tank Sage's grand march with no fighting spirit, and can 1-shot Senior Centipede with a small amount of fighting spirit. So it's safe to assume that's he'd be able to defeat Kabuto. As for human Garou, Murata himself confirmed that Metal Bat would've killed him had the fight continued.
@@lil7725 With both Garou and Kabuto I would need the fighting spirit to fight. The problem is that without fighting spirit he was keeping up with Garou, since human Garou was already faster than him. As for Sage Centepide, at the moment he was being hit, the fighting spirit was activated.
@@cro0511 I understand what you're saying. I believe that scene was meant for comedic purposes, powerscalers tend to overanalyze things sometimes. But also keep in mind, human Garou was able to read and dodge Metal Bat's swings due to his martial arts, they directly counter Metal Bat's basic fighting style. In terms of raw speed, there were a few moments where Garou was *barely* able to dodge at last second, the anime doesn't show those scenes properly, but you can clearly see them in the manga. That's why I personally don't like season 2, it failed to adapt a lot of details.

Garou amped himself multiple times over to fight Bang with awakening breath, heart destroyer, and roaring sky fist. Orochi absolutely stomps every form of Black S. He could perceive Saitama so Platinum is nothing. Orochi beats Sage and Psyrochi definitely stomps.

@@yasserdhib2529 There are many possible reasons. For one, a lot of the fights take place in the village, so obviously the characters don't want to destroy everything around them. Almost every single villain can absorb chakra and jutsu, so large scale attacks would be absolutely meaningless as they could just be absorbed, therefor everyone mostly uses small scale taijutsu. Another explanation could just be that the people running the show and manga just don't want to go as DBZ as Shippuden did and therefore scaled the scope of the action back.

Personally, I think that in a physical fight, Meteoric Burst Boros and Blast should be around the same level with a slight edge to Boros due to his regen and energy attacks. However, I do agree that Blast wins due to his hax because there is nothing stopping him from just teleporting Boros or his Star Cannon away. Blast might also have more stamina than Meteoric Burst Boros but I don't think the fight would last long enough for it to be an factor, at least not one that determines the fight.

Ok my thoughts (dont get mad lol jk) : 1) Perfected fist 1 shots, so low diff. Even MB boros attack couldnt 1 shot the ship and saitamas jump is comparable to MB boros kick power which moved the ship. 2)Winged garou low-mid diff. Him and MB boros are meant to be relative. Also feats. 2.1) Base Cosmic low diff (i think winged garou vs mb boros is the perfect match). He is at least large star lvl but prop much higher. He can copy cosmic stuff/Blast without even going into modes. 3) Rover wins high diff. But aura fist is presented to be > dragon slayer 4) With sun blade atomic wins. PS is > gs in everything and i believe ff would lose to gs also. ff main trait is speed which was casually matched. FF didnt damage PS since that would imply that his power/dura is above his speed. He needs a legendary blade or secret scrolls to increase his AP. 5) FF vs ALL out Bang is another perfect match imo. 6) Im a PS stan so i think PS wins high-extreme diff 7)FF wins rather easily. The MB thing was retarded. I hated these chaps. But he was boosted by a garou who is above orochi so i guess THEN MB takes it. 8) I think PPP high diff 9) Blast could even be peak cosmic garou lvl so yeah. 10) Psyrochi high/extreme diff. Tats bodied her easily. Sage would be harded to kill for Tats. Sage would ram her and destroy the tower. But her beams might be too strong even then 11) DS high diff. GK cant damage him. Also GK dodged Bakuzan but didnt dodge suiryu showing that this power diffirence was noticable. DS casually tanked high dragon lvl garou attacks.
1) You are severely downplaying boros and Amping Garou up. Boros takes Saitama's casual punch, and boros no sells it and then Armor breaks. I still think garou wins mid-high diff. Mainly because Boros' Energy attacks are much stronger than his physical attacks according to the databook.
If Black S decide to create from the start a Platinum and several Goldens to aid him he DEFINITELY WIN (in his fight against Garou he still had cells that just decided to flee rather than fight). If he simply understood his own potential and exploited it , he could wipe the floor with him without losing any cells !
Some issues: Orochi can heal on S body biomass Garou is constantly growing in power, etc. and sometimes copies others. He probably massively developed speed to compete with Flash.
My take on Platinum S and Golden S would always be like that Dragonball Z episode with Cell vs Vegita and Trunks in SuperSaiyan 1.5 ish. Physically (Add also Durably for Golden S' case) Golden S is above Platinum S on those feats, and those feats alone. Which for me at least, would make sense that it wouldn't mean FF be a lot more durable and physically stronger than Darkshine (really doesn't seat well with me) But overall, speed and other factors like techniques etc etc. Platinum S is above Golden S. Kinda like SuperSaiyan 2 is better than SuperSaiyan 1.5 (Which is a lot more bulkier than 2) So yeah, that is my take on it.
Pretty sure ssj grade 2 is just an overall increase in every stat same with grade 4 which Gohan and Goku got before the Cell Games. Only exception is grade 3 or "ultra saiyan" which is stated to sacrifice speed for power. That is also the reason why Goku and Vegeta didn't even bother with it and only the less expirienced Trunks used it.

Personally, I think that in a physical fight, Meteoric Burst Boros and Blast should be around the same level with a slight edge to Boros due to his regen and energy attacks. However, I do agree that Blast wins due to his hax because there is nothing stopping him from just teleporting Boros or his Star Cannon away. Blast might also have more stamina than Meteoric Burst Boros but I don't think the fight would last long enough for it to be an factor, at least not one that determines the fight.

@@7deadlypins It's still going, yes, but a lot of these matchups have dead characters in them who probably aren't coming back, and we're also probably not getting fully bloodlusted fights between heroes. We might, but who knows?

Ok my thoughts (dont get mad lol jk) :
1) Perfected fist 1 shots, so low diff. Even MB boros attack couldnt 1 shot the ship and saitamas jump is comparable to MB boros kick power which moved the ship.
2)Winged garou low-mid diff. Him and MB boros are meant to be relative. Also feats.
2.1) Base Cosmic low diff (i think winged garou vs mb boros is the perfect match). He is at least large star lvl but prop much higher. He can copy cosmic stuff/Blast without even going into modes.
3) Rover wins high diff. But aura fist is presented to be > dragon slayer
4) With sun blade atomic wins. PS is > gs in everything and i believe ff would lose to gs also. ff main trait is speed which was casually matched. FF didnt damage PS since that would imply that his power/dura is above his speed. He needs a legendary blade or secret scrolls to increase his AP.
5) FF vs ALL out Bang is another perfect match imo.
6) Im a PS stan so i think PS wins high-extreme diff
7)FF wins rather easily. The MB thing was retarded. I hated these chaps. But he was boosted by a garou who is above orochi so i guess THEN MB takes it.
8) I think PPP high diff
9) Blast could even be peak cosmic garou lvl so yeah.
10) Psyrochi high/extreme diff. Tats bodied her easily. Sage would be harded to kill for Tats. Sage would ram her and destroy the tower. But her beams might be too strong even then
11) DS high diff. GK cant damage him. Also GK dodged Bakuzan but didnt dodge suiryu showing that this power diffirence was noticable. DS casually tanked high dragon lvl garou attacks.
1) You are severely downplaying boros and Amping Garou up. Boros takes Saitama's casual punch, and boros no sells it and then Armor breaks. I still think garou wins mid-high diff. Mainly because Boros' Energy attacks are much stronger than his physical attacks according to the databook.
If Black S decide to create from the start a Platinum and several Goldens to aid him he DEFINITELY WIN (in his fight against Garou he still had cells that just decided to flee rather than fight). If he simply understood his own potential and exploited it , he could wipe the floor with him without losing any cells !

Orochi can heal on S body biomass
Garou is constantly growing in power, etc. and sometimes copies others. He probably massively developed speed to compete with Flash.

Not gonna lie, I had to look up who Megane was.
My take on Platinum S and Golden S would always be like that Dragonball Z episode with Cell vs Vegita and Trunks in SuperSaiyan 1.5 ish. Physically (Add also Durably for Golden S' case) Golden S is above Platinum S on those feats, and those feats alone. Which for me at least, would make sense that it wouldn't mean FF be a lot more durable and physically stronger than Darkshine (really doesn't seat well with me) But overall, speed and other factors like techniques etc etc. Platinum S is above Golden S. Kinda like SuperSaiyan 2 is better than SuperSaiyan 1.5 (Which is a lot more bulkier than 2)
So yeah, that is my take on it.
Pretty sure ssj grade 2 is just an overall increase in every stat same with grade 4 which Gohan and Goku got before the Cell Games. Only exception is grade 3 or "ultra saiyan" which is stated to sacrifice speed for power. That is also the reason why Goku and Vegeta didn't even bother with it and only the less expirienced Trunks used it.
@@matthiasrauert8397 pretty much yeah on the ssj 2 having overall greater stats. All am saying is what I recalled in my childhood days when watching dbz. Where Vegita or was it cell that told the ssj 1.5 hits harder/bulkier but is slower.

Vegeta is in grade 2 or " Super Vegeta" when he fights Semi Perfect Cell and since he can easily destroy him and outspeed him
even though Cell is now way stronger and faster than 18 which beat Vegeta before it makes no sense for grade 2 to be slower, only grade 3 which Trunks uses after Vegetas defeat is slower.

So yeah its a flat increase in power and speed.
